My #HiveGoals and #LeoGoals revised and finally doing a Saturday Savers report again

SSC_W25_2023.jpg

I took this on one of my usual afternoon hiking.

Goals have to be challenging but achievable.

Hello Hivers, Lions, and Saturday Savers! Happy week, everyone!

It's been several weeks since I last reported for the Saturday Savers Club. The hustle and bustle of RL and a bit of CBA have meant that I've been postponing reporting the weekly progress of my goals.

On the other hand, I was a little tired of always coming back every week with the same story of how far I am from achieving the HP goal I set for the year.

A maxim to follow when setting goals, especially when you have been an operations manager in your professional life, is that they must be specific, measurable, and achievable. And the truth is that I have somewhat underestimated this last requirement when setting my yearly goals. And for a while now, I had been putting off revising my goals and setting some achievable ones. But when I saw my friend @fantagira7's latest report, I felt inspired to revise mine.

But before I go to report my progress and set my revised goals, for those of you interested in joining the Saturday Savers Club if you haven't done it yet, and want to know what it is all about. I recommend you to read Saturday Savers Club with @sally-saver | 2023 Launch and FAQs | Everyone Welcome | EDS for Comments.

Goals progress

Hive

It's been almost half a year and looking at the HP I started the year with. In these first 6 months, I have managed to increase a little more than 2000 HP. And by the end of this week, I hope to finally be at 7000 HP which has been elusive due to my low activity in the last few weeks.

So a challenging but at the same time achievable goal is to reach 10K by the end of the year. For this, I will probably have to use some of my HBD to get more Hive but I will see as I go along. For now, 7K here we go.

LEO

Regarding Leo. A month ago I was on track for my goal, but most of the Leo I was getting was from the market. Now, the Leo costs more relative to Hive, which I think is great but not as good for my purchases. On the other hand, I decided to move all my LP assets to this account and I got it. So for now, #MyLeoGoals revised are to be a cub with this account and reach at least 5k LP this year.

EDS and EDSMM

With respect to EDS, I continue to receive rewards from my delegations, and will probably try to increase the amount of delegation once I have managed to grow my HP.

HBD

I have also adjusted the HBD goal. I don't think I can meet the Saturday Savers penny challenge as I am far below what I should have accumulated to date. And although I hope to continue accumulating HBD, I will be more conservative and set the goal at 300, and even more so if it is likely that I will need part of the liquid rewards to reach the HP and LP goal for the year.

Others

My Alive holdings continue to grow organically by using the hashtags #alive and #aliveandthriving on my main account. And by joining the weekly Alive staking contest.

My LGNs are slowly increasing.

But to be honest I am not going to deal much with the goals of other tokens until I have the primary goals in place.

I hope my savings partner @tengolotodo.leo doesn't reproach me for this. I will continue to keep my initial goals as a reference. But I think that to be motivated and work towards our goals we have to think that if we make an effort and work hard we can achieve them.

That's it for today. Happy Savings, everyone at SSC!

Coqui! You just inspired me to do mine too. I've felt shameful the past weeks as I couldn't keep up and as such, I slacked from doing my report. You know... I felt like a disappointment. But seeing this from you, and I'm inspired to begin again. Of course, Tengo has been poking me a lot in the DMs to get up My Ass. What hurts more is that I may not reach my goal for the end of the year on the SSC but someone told me, "You miss 100% of the chances you don't take!"
So thank you Coqui. You're amazing!

I'm glad to hear you've been inspired, Deraa! 🥰
Well, the truth is that I haven't made a post about the SSC goals for more than a month because I was too lazy and so bored to say the same thing, you know? That every time the goal is farther and farther away, I'm going bad blah blah blah. I know that Tengo is one of those who think that you have to set your goals very very high. And yes, goals have to challenge us but they have to be achievable. There's no point in being pushed to get up the Ass if we know that no matter what we do we won't reach the goal. It is better to set the bar so that if we move the arse we can cross the finish line, right?
You are awesome and you can achieve amazing things 🤗

It was I was thinking too. I may not be able to do the penny a day savings but it doesn't mean I can't keep doing what I can. Hahaha

Without a good goal. It is impossible for one to achieve great things. Hive/LeoFinace is not different. I love the way you do it and have learn greatly in working out my HIVE goal

Thank you very much @ijelady. That's right, it is necessary to set a good goal that motivates us to achieve it.
