Finally, I saw two bicycle shops.

I was on a motorcycle going home sometime two weeks ago when I bumped into a bicycle shop. I could not believe my eyes, as I never knew it was in the area where I was based. The guy even sells bicycle as well as repairing.

I wanted to interview the owner but was somehow afraid of what I was going to ask him. I let that day pass by. I made it a must to try hard to see the owner and interact with him.

After that week, I went to visit a friend of mine who was sick. His house was on the outskirts of the town. I have been avoiding going there, not until he fell sick. Being a colleague and a friend, I had no choice other than to go visit him. When I got to his house, I saw three bicycles packed in his parlor. Meanwhile, there are just three of them in the house: himself, the mother, and the father. I concluded that they must have shared the bicycles among themselves.

I was in a hurry to ask, "So you have these beautiful bicycles, and they all seem not to be used?"

He replied, "We have been using them, but for some time now the bicycle repairer has traveled as the three bicycles have similar faults". I was also ready to hear the whole music of how they developed faults and which one is his.

"How did they develop the fault?"

He said the faults are just chains. The chains got cut off, and the wheels were bent.

I asked if he could take them to the bicycle repairer I had bumped into, to which he answered "yes." In my mind, this would be an opportunity to stroll with a bicycle after a few weeks of cycling.

Since he was not well, we placed it in the period when he would be fine.

When he was finally okay, he called me to take him to the bicycle repairer's shop. On getting there, his shop was locked. "Maybe they are just having the same characteristics of not going to the shop since bicycles are scarce here in this area", I said to him.

Someone later gave us the bicycle repairer's phone number. We had to call him, and it was not reachable. His house was shown to us, and we went to the place. Finally, we met him at home. I did not have the opportunity to ask him some questions related to his shop. I was supposed to ask him when he was in the shop.

After discussing with him, he finally agreed to repair the bicycles, and he said we should bring the bicycles to his house. Before we left, my friend had to climb one of the repairman's bicycles. I could not watch my friend ride on it without trying as well.

My colleague could not take the bicycles to the repairman; instead, I called him and informed him that he would be taking the bicycles to him in two weeks.

So, I lost that opportunity to visit the man's shop. Maybe next time I will try to reach the shop.
