Evangelism meeting point.

Hello, my fellow bloggers, I am happy to share with you my weekend experience. Sunday was supposed to be a day to sit and listen to the man of God to preach but my own case was different because we all left the church to evangelise.

This was how it started.
I drove to church around 8:30 am to quickly do our normal choir rehearsal before the service started by 9:00 am, to my surprise it was another activity I met in church, the prayer team I saw praying for the evangelism we wanted to go out for. I thought the evangelism would be after the church service but the reverse was the case.
The prayer ended by 9:00 am and my daughter led praise and worship just for 10 minutes, immediately after the praise and worship one of our pastors started calling out coordinators for each group to lead people to the different streets which I was among, I was given 5 people to coordinate. so we all set out for the evangelism then when trekked to a junction I called all my members to let us choose a particular street that was very busy so that we would see people to talk to.
We started distributing the flyers and then talking to them, some of them were not ready to listen to us because they did not know that after talking to them we had foodstuff to give them, because of the hardship in the country.

So those that gave us listening hear collected foodstuff in small quantity lol 😆 those that did not give us listening hear was now trying to come close to us so that we could talk to them too but they were so unfortunate because the foodstuff had finished from the car we store the foodstuff. They started coming towards our side and started to begin to talk to them about Jesus. I was so angry and I don't know when I shouted that you want us to talk to you now because you have already realized that once we talk to you we will give out rice and beans in small bags to the person. They said NO that they just want us to preach to them. Immediately I heard that I told one of our pastors in my group to preach to them, then after the pastor's preaching I prayed for them and gave them the tract and I told them they could go and that we would be expecting them the following Sunday before I finished that statement someone just said what do I mean, is it that they will not get any foodstuff? I answered yes there is no foodstuff anymore until the next time we come for something like this. they were all angry and left unhappy, I now realize that they were not even ready to listen to us initially, it was because of the food we were sharing that made them come around and claim that they wanted to listen to the word of God. So we all went back to the church auditorium for the conclusion of the program.
