Firefighters are Heroes in Real Life

Whenever someone asks who are the real heroes, then we should remeber that the real heroes are the one we rely on to save our life. They are Soldier, Police, FireFighters and others. And I have a high regard for firefighters because they risk their life so that each one of us were saved from the fire.

I remeber when I was a kid, we were celebrating Diwali. And one rocket by mistake went inside the living room of a family. Luckily rhe family was out of town, but the fire was huge. And thus a lot of people tried to put down the fire with bucket filled of water but could not and thus the problem was all the houses were adjacent so if the fire becomes huge it would have been a hige thing. And then came the real life heroes wearing red dresses and thus in like 10 minutes they were able to put down the fire.

This was the only encounter I had with them. Though I see them on the road sometimes but the work they had done was fresh in my mind. Now the problem is we take their job very lightly but trust me they are the real life saviors. And not only in the time of fire, they have been called upon when there is some emergency.

But like other professionals they are not payed that well. Most of the firefighters are government employees but again the amount of risk they take, the compensation is not really upto the mark. So one thing which I guess all the governments around the world should do is to improve the life of people who are their to sacrifice their life for others. And firefighters are one of them.
