Buying Cards from Glint Rewards in Splinterlands

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

To be honest, I was not playing the Splinterlands game for a while as I was not liking the Glint rewards. Basically when we get the rewards cards, and opening it everyday was really great. We used to be anxious to get good cards and thus wait for the next day. And the best was to wait for the end season loot to see how many good cards we used to get. But with the Glint rewards the excitement was little less as I had to play the game, get the Glint rewards and then go to the shop and buy accordingly.

But when I open my Solinterlands yesterday, I saw that there was a little update where now we can buy the cards based on Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary from out Glint. Now that hooked me again. Like I can use my 5K Glint for a Epic card as well as 25K Glint for my Legenday Card. That is quite awesome. And then just 500 for the Rare card.

So I have used almost all my Glint rewards to buy some of the Rare as well as one Epic card. Though it was not a great Rare card but this is great as now I can get more Glint rewards and buy whatever I want.

This helped me to start playing the Splinterlands again. Because now I started collecting the Glint rewards and try to buy some of the Epic or if possible Legendary cards to add some of the good cards in my kitty. This seems to be a great move from the Splinterlands team because they have made sure that you can use your Glint rewards to buy cards based on whatever you need. If you need Rare, then go ahead and buy as much as you want similarly if you want some great lenegendary cards in uour items then save your Glint and buy whenever you have enough.

And that's what I have done, I have bought one Epic and then some Rare and thus will start doing that everyday. My goal is to get atleast 2 Rare cards everyday and whatever extra I will have will be saved for the Epic. I am hoping that I will target to have atleast 20 Rare cards every season and 1-2 Epic. Now for Legendary I have to save my end season Glint and hopefully I will be able to buy 1 Legendary every 2 season. Now that is my plan going forward and will keep accumulating the as per the rarity.
