Obedience to God is our duty. (MCGI Topic review)

We are to fear God and keep all his commandments leaving non aside. And what are his commandments? They are the laid down rules for us to follow to live a righteous life. They are the things the Bible approve and disapprove. For instance, in our school, and place of work, there are rules and regulations we follow, and anyone that go against them would be punished. Obeying the rules is our duty, so God's commandments is the rules that we must follow. The book of Psalm also says "the will of God is his commandment" Psalm 10:8

His law is his will which we need to follow and abide in. Jesus Christ instructed his disciples in Matthew 28:20 to teach people the things he commanded. If we want to be close to God and be under his care, we must do all he had commanded us to do. There're many people who call the name of God, but he do not recognize them because they are not obeying his commandments. According to Matthew 7:21, the Bible says

No matter how much we pray, and meditate, if we don't do the will of the father, which is the commandment, we wouldn't see heaven. Obeying his will is the only ticket to see Jesus. If the love of God is on our heart, we would abide by his rule and commandment. Jesus was speaking in John 14;23, he says whosoever loves him will keep his commandments, and obey him, and he and his father would be with such person

To obey the will of God, we have to keep the commandments. There's nothing else to do apart from that. Following the will of God is our duty as man. Galatian 6:2 says "be ye one another's burden and so fulfil the law of Christ. Today, some people believe that the law of Christ is the ten commandments. Before now, I was also confused about the ten commandments and the new law, but bro Eli shed light on it, and I understood every bit. The laws of Jesus Christ is different from the ten commandments given to Moses. The law of Christ are his doctrines that we must abide by. When Jesus Christ came, he taught his desciples and many about his laws. He made them understand what and what is not against the will of his father

For it's appointed for man to die, once and after that, judgement. The Bible made us to understand that we would die one day, and a day of judgement would come. Therefore, we should live our lives based on the will of God, so that we can merit and have a place with the Lord on the last day
