El futbol y sus momentos, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, un jugador que siempre estuvo en el ojo del huracán decidió anunciar su retiro en el último partido del Milan esta temporada, luego de 41 años el sueco acepta no poder más y colocar punto y final a su espectacular carrera. Recuerdo que cuando deje de jugar beisbol luego de hacerlo por más de 15 años no fue una decisión fácil, asi que me puedo imaginar en cierto sentido lo que debió sentir Zlatan en ese momento, claro está las diferencias son muy grandes obviamente pero cuando tu corazón está en el juego no es un paso sencillo de realizar, y sus lágrimas en el imponente San Siro son una muestra de lo difícil que fue.

Hay muchos jugadores que se retiran y es algo normal, en el caso de Ibrahimovic al ser un jugador con tanto recorrido el mundo del balón pie se “paraliza” y voltea su rostro para decirle adiós a este gran guerrero, un samurái que siempre dejo cuerpo y alma en el terreno de juego.

Si tuviera que catalogar a Zlatan tendría que colocarlo en una categoría única, no hay otro como el, su singularidad además de su calidad lo convirtió en un jugador notable, por encima de muchos a pesar de jamás haber ganado un balón de oro, aunque todos sabemos cómo se mueve este premio en realidad, sin embargo no podemos quitarle merito a causa de eso, Zlatan demostró en su carrera una forma de jugar y un liderazgo en la cancha que jamás será borrado, su actitud en cada partido y entrega definitivamente marcaron una diferencia.

If I had to catalog Zlatan I would have to place him in a unique category, there is no other like him, his uniqueness in addition to his quality made him a remarkable player, above many despite never having won a golden ball, although we all know how this award really moves, however we can not take away merit because of that, Zlatan showed in his career a way of playing and leadership on the field that will never be erased, his attitude in every game and delivery definitely made a difference.

Para un amigo muy querido Zlatan es el mejor delantero, entiendo su punto y reconozco que siempre ha sido de los mejores, es el máximo goleador de su selección por encima de otra estrella histórica como Henrik Larsson, pero a nivel general anoto 573 goles en 988 partidos que disputo en su carrera, falto poco para llegar a los mil encuentros profesionales, obtuvo 32 títulos y repartió 226 asistencias. Si nos fijamos en números no podemos negar su gran calidad, incluso sus detractores tienen que reconocer que es uno de los mejores, aunque yo no me baso en números para reconocer su valía, solo los traigo a acotación a causa de su retiro.

Otro aspecto importante a resaltar de Zlatan es su capacidad acrobática, no he visto a otro jugador como el en ese sentido, el más parecido fue Thierry Henry otra leyenda pero del resto ningún otro. Cuando hablo de capacidad acrobática me refiero a la habilidad de usar todo su cuerpo para hacer jugadas increíbles, parar balones e incluso marcar goles espectaculares, estoy convencido que sin esa habilidad mucho de lo que construyo no habría sido posible, claro está también hay que atribuirle crédito a las artes marciales que siempre practico, eso tuvo un impacto elástico en su cuerpo que influyó positivamente en su carrera futbolística.

Another important aspect to highlight about Zlatan is his acrobatic ability, I have not seen another player like him in that sense, the most similar was Thierry Henry, another legend, but no other. When I talk about acrobatic ability I mean the ability to use his whole body to make incredible plays, stop balls and even score spectacular goals, I am convinced that without that ability much of what he built would not have been possible, of course we must also give credit to the martial arts that he always practiced, that had an elastic impact on his body that positively influenced his soccer career.

Su juego en el área de los mejores, lleno de fortaleza y agresividad, un delantero poderoso y difícil de marcar, no tanto por las habilidades mencionadas anteriormente sino por la dureza de su juego físico, Ibrahimovic es el típico delantero de antaño en cuanto al posicionamiento dentro del área, por momento pensé que Halland tenía el mismo tipo de fortaleza pero no es asi o por lo menos aun no lo ha demostrado contra jugadores de su misma talla, Zlatan tuvo épicas luchas con defensores fuertes como Materazzi, Chiellini y otros más que destacaron por su buena defensiva, en algunas ocasiones no pudo ganar pero en otras ni siquiera estas leyendas podían detenerlo.

Por último y para concluir porque no tengo mucho más que agregar, estoy agradecido por la oportunidad providencial de haber podido disfrutar de este delantero, un gran jugador sin duda alguna, aun cuando ya no era titular a causa de su edad y debilidades en sus piernas cada vez que jugaba marcaba la diferencia, recuerdo lo importante e influyente que fue para que el Milan consiguiera su ultimo Scudetto luego de muchos años sin hacerlo, al final su experiencia ha dejado una huella en el mundo del futbol, una que jamás será borrada.

Finally and to conclude because I do not have much more to add, I am grateful for the providential opportunity to have been able to enjoy this striker, a great player without a doubt, even when he was no longer a starter because of his age and weaknesses in his legs every time he played he made a difference, I remember how important and influential he was for Milan to get their last Scudetto after many years without doing so, in the end his experience has left a mark in the world of soccer, one that will never be erased.
