Dear Community,

Today is the day before Christmas Eve, and if you haven't got all your presents together yet, the stress may already feel like a big wave that's rolling over you. I am different. I confess, I love getting presents. It's a process that often starts in October. Why so early, you may ask? Well, it's not about getting everything perfect, it's about putting some thought into it. The anticipation of seeing the sparkle in your loved ones' eyes when they open the parcel is the most important thing for me. It's not the price, the exclusivity or the latest fashion that counts. It is much more important that the gift fits, that it is something meaningful.

If I see that the gift brings a smile because I have listened and know the person, that is the greatest gift for me. It's about showing that you value someone and want to make him or her happy. That feeling of giving is what makes the holidays so special for me.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, to the joy, the smiles and the loving moments that gift-giving brings. On that note, I wish you all a reflective time, full of love and joy.

Der SelfieSaturday vor dem Heiligen Abend

Liebe Community,

Heute ist der Tag vor Heiligabend, und wenn ihr noch nicht alle Geschenke zusammenhabt, fühlt sich der Stress vielleicht schon an wie eine große Welle, die euch überrollt. Ich bin da anders. Ich gestehe, ich liebe es, Geschenke zu besorgen. Es ist ein Prozess, der schon oft im Oktober beginnt. Warum so früh, fragt ihr euch vielleicht? Nun, es geht nicht darum, alles perfekt zu machen, sondern darum, sich Gedanken zu machen. Die Vorfreude darauf, das Leuchten in den Augen der Lieben zu sehen, wenn sie das Päckchen öffnen, ist für mich das Wichtigste. Es ist nicht der Preis, die Exklusivität oder die neueste Mode, die zählen. Viel wichtiger ist es, dass das Geschenk passt, dass es etwas Bedeutungsvolles ist.

Wenn ich sehe, dass das Geschenk ein Lächeln hervorruft, weil ich zugehört habe und die Person kenne, ist das das größte Geschenk für mich. Es geht darum zu zeigen, dass man jemanden wertschätzt und ihm oder ihr eine Freude bereiten möchte. Dieses Gefühl des Gebens ist es, was die Feiertage für mich so besonders macht.

Ich bin gespannt auf morgen, auf die Freude, das Lächeln und die liebevollen Momente, die das Schenken mit sich bringt. In diesem Sinne wünsche ich euch allen eine besinnliche Zeit, voller Liebe und Freude.
