There are museums, and then there is the Museum of Communication in Berlin. When I think of museum visits, I usually think of paintings, sculptures and historical artifacts. But in this case, it is the history of communication itself that is on display here and fascinates me. This museum, which has existed in the heart of Berlin since 1872, takes visitors on a journey through this fascinating world.

I plan to visit the Museum of Communication in the near future. The reason? Well, firstly, I love the stunning architecture of the building. The museum is housed in the old Reichspostmuseum, which was founded in 1872 by Heinrich von Stephan, the Postmaster General of the German Reich, in Berlin Mitte. It is a historic building that looks imposing and impressive. Even from the outside, it attracts attention and I can hardly wait to explore the interior.

The museum extends over 8000 square meters and houses an impressive collection of objects relating to communication and postal history. Es gibt Museen, und dann gibt es das Museum für Kommunikation in Berlin. Wenn ich an Museumsbesuche denke, denke ich normalerweise an Gemälde, Skulpturen und historische Artefakte. Aber in diesem Fall ist es die Geschichte der Kommunikation selbst, die hier ausgestellt wird und mich fasziniert.
