In July 2022, I already had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting castle and park Fürstlich Drehna. This time I was drawn to this enchanting place again, and even decided to spend a night in this historic gem. High stuccoed ceilings, historic floorboards and spacious rooms immersed me in the splendor of centuries past.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find the peace and relaxation there that I had hoped for, as a family with lively children firmly claimed the area for themselves.

In summary, Fürstlich Drehna Castle and Park are undoubtedly worth a visit, especially if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the majestic atmosphere of times past. The historic building fabric and the enchanting park are breathtaking.

But it is important to keep in mind that running such a historic gem in these times, especially in such a remote location, can be a challenge.
