I have been talking about gig work for some time now and what do you know? App-Based Delivery Services Provided $9.1 Billion!!!! That’s with a B, In Revenues to More than 117K California Restaurants, Grocers and Other Merchants During First Year of 😷, we all thought it was all bad but many businesses where created due to the stresses of the Pandemic which started last year.

A new analysis compiled by the (Protect App-Based Drivers + Services coalition)... (formerly the Yes on Proposition 22 coalition) found that app-based food and grocery delivery platforms generated, all that darn cash.

I mentioned Prop 22 before and with the ever rising at home businesses more and more are using services like DoorDash or GrubHub. With the passing of this proposition it opened a new venue for gig workers to earn even more with. Per hour guarantee.(depending on your county) which all have their own minimum wage.

This new revenue stream proved to be a lifeline for California restaurants and retailers as lockdown orders took effect and local businesses were closed or had their in-person capacity severely limited. Looking at the gig apps... I think they are the sole reason many fast food and mom and pop joints survived this tragic government shutdown.

What do you know I am a hero worker. 🦸‍♂️ give me my hero stimy 😂.

And just as quick as it blows up people will start getting tired for spending an extra $10 for somebody to deliver it.

Honestly nobody really cares.

And the delivery industry is actually the least environmentally friendly businesses because it's completely built around individuals driving their own gas burning vehicles for a very low wage. And because these individuals have to buy their own gas... Well that definitely takes another big chunk out of their earnings.

Be careful and investing in these delivery applications because I really don't think they're going to survive much longer in the covid hoax coming out time.

However you are sharing your earnings with the people who are marketing the app making them richer while only getting a portion.

I think the lockdowns have changed people's habits. The convenience of ordering food is here to stay and I wonder if this will change after everything goes back to normal.

Yea which is a nice felling since I believe many got out of poverty due to it.

I was listing to a radio station.. maybe MPR but some stats read that many workers are asking for some days to work from home so yes I due believe its here to stay. might slow down a tad bit but dunno, it does feel like business is gowning at a nice steady pace, I am finding my self getting the same two big company pick up at around the same time say 2-3 times a week.

Might just be me though.
