MCGI Mass Indoctrination Shaping My Prayer Life.

I believe that the expectation of Bro Eli Soriano and the MCGI Cares team on the Mass Indoctrination going on is to see men and women accept the doctrines and apply same in their lives. I must confess that I am one of the persons which this indoctrination has affected positively. This is why days like today where the internet network in my area was so bad that I could not have a free flow of the teachings are not pleasing to me.

Through this doctrines on prayers, I have gotten a more cordial relationship with God in that I watch carefully to avoid offenses residing in my heart so that my prayers will not be hindered. I do not want to be like the wicked whose prayers God will not listen to. I want my heart to be clean before God.

Psalms 66:18 (KJV) If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

The issue of vain repetitions is another aspect that blessed my heart. I now tend to trust and believe my God the more. I come to realize that I do not need to tease God with careless words to win his approval over my prayers. I have known now that God delights in hearing me pray.
Proverbs 15:8 (KJV) The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Also my prayers now does not need to be pleasing to anyone. I am not praying to win men's admiration. I will not be like the hypocrites in my prayers. When I am praying I will concentrate on my God and remove my mind from what men would say. I will not pray hypocritically.

Bro Eli Soriano also taught us that we should be disciplined when we come to pray. While praying we should avoid every distractions. I too will be adopting the posture of kneeling down when praying so that my whole body will learn to concentrate.

There are many beautiful lessons this session is bringing to our understanding. There will not be any use listening without applying it. Let us apply these doctrines to our daily living as christians.
