Beware of False Teachers. MCGI Topic Review

The main emphasis from the MCGI teachings is to beware of false teachers. We are brought to the awareness that we are in a world which has been invaded by massive deceptions and numerous false teachers.

False Teachers are those who teach the wrong doctrines. They make people believe and follow what is not true. They are deceivers. They put aside the truth in God’s word and feed people with deceptions. They are working against the truth. Those who follow them can never please God.

Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Jesus Christ is our Teacher. He is the teacher that God sent to come and show us the way to the truth. God confirmed that we should listen to Him. The teachings of Jesus Christ are written in the Bible. The early apostles followed the same and recorded it down for us to come and follow.

In the teachings of Jesus, everyone who receives His teachings must be baptized to join the church. Baptism is not optional, it is the commandment of God. We are not in the church if we refuse to accept baptism.

Matthew 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus Christ also established the church and left it down for us to continue therein. Joining the church is very important to those who willingly receive the doctrines of Jesus Christ. But while looking for a church to join, we must join the true church of God.

Jesus Christ also taught us how to pray. When we pray, we should not be hypocrites. We should avoid vain repetitions in our prayers. Following Jesus is to obey His commandments through the doctrines written in the Bible.
