In relationships we make sacrifices

Relationships is concerned with our connection to others and how we relate with them, at a point in every relationship, there's always a time to make sacrifices, it's either you let go of something or you give out something that belongs to you, it's called a sacrifice because the object of sacrifice is denied of it's ideal purpose to satisfy a need and also for the betterment of the relationship.

It's something we can't dodge, standing out for someone, it could be a friend or even stranger but in life's journey there would surely be a time where we would have to stand out for someone, and in most cases we would definitely do it in relationships because relationships works as a result of sacrifices, every beautiful relationship has it's sacrifice like a pillar.

When I had to stand out for a friend

Six months ago, I remember making a post here about how I searched for hospital where would carry out my industrial training, during that season I had to do was to print out my IT latter of which I had the soft copy, while I went to print out my IT latter in the town where I desired to do my industrial training, I went along with my course mates, they were mostly people from my department we all wanted to do our industrial training in the same hospital so we practically did everything together.

On reaching the cyber cafe one of my course mates realized he didn't have enough funds to pay for the printing because it was a colored printing format and also on a ticket paper so it cost us more than just black and white printing format.

I luckily had enough money to pay for the printing and everything, I also had extra money on me but it was part of my transportation fee, no one among us was ready to pay for the guy's bills, everybody was definitely considering other expenditure, ge ask me and I couldn't say no, anyways it was because I knew he would be able to pay before the next day because I had to leave that town back to where I live.

I paid for hia bills with the cash I had no me part of which was my transport money, of course he appreciated and I saw the excitement on his face, since from that day he respected me like never before, though we're from different religious background and we obviously have difference in our believes but he would always want me to come stay at his place.

From that day, he exceeded from being a course mate to a close friend, the sacrifice I made for him brought us more closer.

Because of what I did for him, he also stood out for me in many cases, he helped me with whatever he could and it was like an answer prayer to me.

In summary, helping others shouldn't be a big deal because we would also need help, except if it's beyond helping or beyond what we can carry, my friend use to always tell me "we don't know wether we would meet tomorrow".

This is a good example that people can help others despite their religious background. You truly wanted to help him and that's why you didn't think too much about your other expenditures just as the other people did

A little help rendered could actually bring a fortune to one in future.
See how much he appreciated your help. Let's keep doing good.
