It's always important to take note of what you spend on so you can manage your spending, a dollar saved is a dollar earned, but that's only half of the equation, you still need to put those saved dollars to work by investing

So true. I was looking up how to budget and found this video

but also realized that maybe this video is for "normal" situations where people do have regular jobs. That's why I shared the one in my post, for the period that we're in now. But this one also has good advise. Although it's more instructional for beginners. There indeed goes more into investing, like the research and weighing the pros and cons.
