LEO FOMO: Selling Steem For The Lion

So today I was spending a little too much time in the discord trying to decipher the messages in my own little way and I decided it was time for more Leo.

My thought was that I would sell my steem that has been a burden in a lot of ways but I was holding it because I felt like it owed me a pump.

But it seems like we are in for a lot of new developments with Leo in the next couple of weeks and while 100% of my Leo has been staked I felt I needed some liquid just to have some options.

But I really don't know how to operate exchanges and dexes and engines so I asked for some help on how to get my steem from my bittrex account and converted to Leo.

That's where the fun and the frustration all began. But with a lot of help in some serious from @gerber and @jk6276 ,I finally got there.

if it wasn't for them it never would have happened so I want to thank them. But, I learned that I needed to go back into my original steam account to make this easy for me. Literally returning to the scene of the crime.

My preferred method because what I was more comfortable with was hive-engine. So I had to trade from bitterex back into my old steem wallet and then deposit on hive engine.

Then from there, I had to swap the steem into hive and buy Leo.

I only lost one steem during one of my test sends because of a memo error. But those guys in the discord really wanted me to learn how to do this on my own and get through the steps and now I can handle it.

my initial idea was to sell all 5600 of my steem and get right into Leo and be done with it but I've only sold 600 steem so far because there's not a lot of liquidity on hive engine and the prices are going up.

All in all I put about $250 worth of steem onto hive engine and so far have converted into 111 Leo.

I'm going all in to support Leo finance and hopefully take a risk that will pay off. They say no risk no reward and my steem is just sitting in an exchange earning nothing for me so here we go.

The @leofinance team is working hard and I'm thrilled to tag along

I'm torn but it's doing nothing for me and I like what Leo is doing. But I do think steem will pump one day and I'll probably miss it but other than a pump there is no reason to have it.

It's just hard to buy. It makes me realize how to tough it is going to be for mainstreet to purchase it.

Scarcity has proven to be a point of emphasis for value in some very popular coins though!

I was considering doing the same. It would be easier for me since my STEEM is still in my STEEM wallet although most of it is delegated as I'm enjoying the returns by having it leased out via DLease.

I've been trying to sell STARBITS and DEC instead but rates aren't good at the moment so haven't done much of that.

The good thing is I'm learning more about the markets by checking in every day.

well next week is super huge as far as the develpments on Leofinance so I want everything there. I'm assuming the price will pump. All my steem is liquid. I don't want those crooks to have any of my power. I'm not sure what type of returns your getting on dlease but I hope it's good. I want to double or triple my investment next week. That will really help me.

I'm getting 28% returns on average on dLease. It's been down to 25% and up to 32% and it's easy to manage.

I suspect a lot of the stuff coming out next week will beyond my skill level, at least to take advantage of fast. I will be waiting for the dust to settle and then take it from there.

My LEO is staked so I'm ready for the airdrop although there are now posts saying to keep it liquid.
