One secret to your business success you would consider helpful.

"Of what use is my business when it doesn't make much sales?". This might be thoughts, it might be arguments, and believe me when I say this, they are valid claims. Any entrepreneur has that sole aim of making profits, lots of it.

Allow me take you through one of the many strategies that you might consider helpful.

I have taken much time to pay closer attention to small scale businesses, even large scale businesses and discovered a technique that works, especially for those venturing into businesses they are new to.

During the course of this article, I'll use one original picture to stress my observation and why I think if put into consideration or even applied would turn to be productive.

Customers are the life of businesses. They are one of the major factors that keep the entity running. Obviously, if you don't sell how can you make profits?

These set of individuals would always want to buy from the best store or better still get attended to by the best salesperson at the best store. They love to be treated with dignity, they love to feel wanted, they always want you to get a run for your money.

In as much as they love being treated as royalties, customers still appreciate getting goods or services entities offer at slashed prices. It shouldn't be surprising to note that a customer would have to go miles inorder to get goods or services rendered at a slightly reduced price. Many customers might decide to keep patronizing a particular business that sells in higher prices because of the security they enjoy, the guarantee they receive, the comfortability they feel, the quality the business offers, even the attention they require.

But come to think of it; Can't a business possess all of these qualities and still sell at a much controlled price? Yes it can. And if a customer notices a business that offers much more benefits, don't you think they would love to be a part? Yes they would.

I've been opportune to see businesses thrive with this strategy. Above is a little pictorial illustration of the case study. This was taken during the late hours of the day of people trying to buy water. In many parts of Nigeria, water is far fetched. Many house owners consider it an opportunity to make profits. They construct bore-holes and sell water from it to people that need them. They pump these waters with generators whenever there is no power supply and in most cases it affects the prices of water.

But then, what would the case be when a particular bore-hole decide to sell at a much cheaper rate than the other? As illustrated in the image, customers would have to take turns to make sure they get enough water with the little money they have. They would never mind whether there are other water stations nearby as you would notice if you take a closer look at the picture. They wait patiently.

But just as the business that's offers enough benefits but at higher prices, few might decide to buy from the other bore-holes maybe because they sell cleaner waters safe for drinking or the relationship that might exist between them.

Whereas these bore-holes with lots of customers to attend to would definitely have to refill the water tank more frequently. Though they might have to spend much more amount of petrols on their generators as the case may be, they would care less knowing that the returns coming into the business covers the expenditures.

IN CONCLUSION

A business is said to be profitable considering its ability to turn profit. Whereas this same entity would be deemed much more profitable with its ability to frequently and consistently produce these services, sell, and make constant profits. Why not decide now to reduce the price of the commodity or service you render a little differently from your counterparts, while still maintaining the quality and availability.
