Trials and Tribulations

Hello everyone,

Sorry for my absence of late. I am sticking with my goal of at least one post a day.

I am have major computer issues.And I think I know the problem. So some advice.

If you do not know what you are doing with VPN on a Linux machine. Don't try and learn from trial and error.

My major issue was I thought my wifi card was going. But when I finialy found an ether net cord I had same connections issues. Luckly I have a duel boot laptop and I am here on windows now and my connection is working fine.

The other thing is thankfully one of my backups of Hive is a USB stick with my keys.

I could have fell to using mobile only but that is not always easy.

Also today is my wifes 60th birthday. So I will be AFK most of the day.

Hope I can fix my Linux, I got a support ticket out to hide.me for instructions on how to remove it from Linux. All the googling in the world and I don't know how.

If anyone reading this know how to removed hide.me VPN for Ubuntu please leave a detailed guide.

Great to hear that you are able to post on Hive again Bradley, sorry about your VPN not working on Linux though, I found this info if it might help, scroll down to the last comment to get the uninstall script, https://community.hide.me/threads/how-to-uninstall-hideme.1704/
