Lets stop and smell the roses

Disclaimer: If this post sounds like I am taking advantage of sickness or COVID-19 that is not my intent.

Sometimes you just have to stop in life and smell the roses that you have in your life. No matter how bad you think you have it, there is always someone who got it worse. Saying that, something I have learned over the last few years is that sickness is a personal thing. What I mean by that is, you may have cancer and being treated for it and someone else may have a really bad flu and personally one is just as bad as the other. It is a personal thing. To others and medically there is a difference but personally I have found people should not compare their sickness to someone else.

Yes I am rambling and will get to a point here and no I am not sick. I have sickness around me but I am not ready to go into details online about it. Maybe in the future. But it does influence my writings and what I do in life.

Now with the COVID-19 taking hold in the world my fear for people and loved ones grows. Thanks to worldometers.info I keep track of the stats. As of this writing there are 85,691 confirmed cases with 2,933 deaths. The good news so far is 39,766 recovered.

Being in North America so far things have been slow to spread. The USA I see is up to 66 cases but they are starting to get what seems to be "Community Spread" meaning no known origin for the infected people. Here in Canada we are up to 16 cases.

With about 8 billion people on the planet, 35 million in Canada these numbers seem really really low but when you have love ones that are already sick with other problems and the COVID-19 seems to be the hardest on those people you will worry.

So, besides washing your hands all the time, what can we do (that is the point of this post). What can you do?

The world economy is going down the tank, being flushed like a good poop, just watching it swirling down the bowl. So what can we do?

Click Track Profit, CTP Talk, and Steem. I am going to continue on working my online business. I am going to push (or softly try to pull people to it). I am going to keep blogging everyday on CTP Talk and Steem. If we all have to become shutins while this virus spreads there is no better place to be than online. To socialise, run a business and be safe.

Like I said in my disclaimer above I am not using the COVID-19 to promote my online cause but it only makes sense to me that during times of economic down turn and what looks like a coming pandemic that online is the place to be.

Thankfully no one has risen as a zombie (yet). lol. Ya I watch to my Walking Dead.

So, if you do nothing else today, if you get nothing else from this post today, STOP and smell the roses that you have in your life. Tell someone that you love them.
