First Week on Hive

So here I am, here we are, the first week on Hive in the books. How has it been for you? Pretty fantastic for me. Pretty seamless, smooth, everything has come together. The community that I love so much has come together on Hive and after the week it feels like I have always been here.

A few of my favourite items still have to migrate there way over but I know they are being worked on very hard in the back ground. I do not have a worry in the world when it comes to Hive and what it will look like. I cannot wait to see what it is going to be like in a year.

Let me start with my little island called Newfoundland. If you want to read the full news article from CBC News there it is. But here are the highlights.

No one dead yet, our first person in the hospital, 20 new cases yesterday bringing our total to 102. Does not sound like a lot but we are 2nd per capita in our country. We only have about 500,000 people and Canada has about 35 Million.

In Canada as a whole: Total cases: 4,757 New Cases: +714 Total deaths: 55 New deaths: +16

As for the World totals, I believe it was the largest single day of new cases and deaths. And as a reminder I get most of my stats from Worldometers.

Total cases: 596,312 new Cases: +64,502 Total deaths: 27,341 New Deaths: +3,273
