Unsolicited Opinion on WAX
You are probably starting to feel as though I sound like a bad record. It seems that in the past couple of weeks every other post I am writing is about NFTs or WAX.
As you can see from the Tweet that went out yesterday, according to dappradar WAX became the most used blockchain in the world yesterday.
Let's think about that for a little bit shall we?
Sure, there are probably just as many statistics for some other blockchain being the most used, but in my experience dappradar has usually been pretty solid and trustworthy.
If Hive were to make it into the list there would no doubt be hundreds of posts filling your feed touting that fact.
While I certainly agree that it should be Hive, the fact remains that it isn't. I think that one day we will see Hive up in that spot. We definitely have the community and development to support that. Right now though...
It is all WAX
So what does that mean in the grand scheme of things? Probably not a ton, tomorrow (which is today) there will potentially be another blockchain in that top spot. What it means for me, and what it should mean for you is that WAX is severely undervalued.
I've been pretty honest about the fact that I picked up the majority of my WAX around $.03 to $.06. Right now it is still only at $.23! That is practically a steal! Do you ever wish you could have picked up THOR or AVA at $.23?

Okay, I get it, maybe you don't believe in the whole NFT thing. Maybe you think it is all hype and a bubble and a lot of people are going to be left hurting when the craze dies down.
That's a valid opinion, but holding WAX doesn't dictate that you need to start messing around with NFTs. No more than holding Hive dictates that you need to be blogging. However, as you start to see everyone around you cash in, you will likely find yourself asking, "why have I not picked up a couple of NFTs?"
As the title states, this is unsolicited opinion, you should definitely do your own research. I honestly believe that WAX should be a $10 token. With everything that they have going on, plus this recent validation, that fact is even more solidified in my mind.
Now, maybe you are saying that you don't feel like learning a new blockchain... I have great news for you! Since WAX runs on the EOSIO software which was created by Dan Larimer and Hive is a fork of STEEM which was also created by Dan, there are many similarities between the two.
Fast, feeless transactions (as long as you have a little WAX staked)... Sound familiar at all?
Trust me, if you can do Hive, you can totally do WAX. Plus, the WAX Cloud Wallet makes it insanely simple for anyone to create an account simply by using any social media or email account.
It's honestly a no brainer in my opinion. With so many new digital collections being released every day, I think WAX is going to be bouncing around that top spot for quiet some time.
Plus, like Hive, it is DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake), so reduced energy costs too. See, NFTs can be green.
If you have been on the fence, you should definitely check out WAX. I don't expect the price will stay this low forever.

Your posts got me into WAX. I think there is something to be said about all the new NFT launches and passive income streams the games can provide. There is a learning curve and I was burned by the MLB launch which I was excited about, but I'm still exploring the options.

Yeah, that MLB launch was just a hot mess. I am sorry about that. I talked it up so much and then it just kind of was a dumpster fire. At least I missed out on it too. I would feel horrible if I made out okay and others that tried to get in because of me missed out.

I still have my WAX stash, it got a little low for my liking in terms of price but has jumped amid the gloom of the recent dips. Not sure what to do with it and I don't like holding it in that wallet either.
Create a .waa account and send it over there. Stake it and earn staking rewards. Problem solved!

I have about 1,400 WAX or so but haven't sold my earnings the past few days. So maybe you can add like 50 WAX or so on top. If it becomes a $10 token like you said, I will definitely be richer lol.

Glad you are enjoying the gains and the future is looking pretty bright for WAX. I think they just barley claimed a first mover advantage, but it has worked. I promoted WAX here early and was met with a fair amount of resistance from people with what I can only describe as "HIVE Blinders" on. WAX is not a threat, it's purpose built! I'm a fan of that.

Yeah, for sure. I think WAX is filling a niche and it is doing it very well. Sure there are NFTs on Hive, but WAX is just killing it. You might see higher sale numbers over on ETH, but that is just because there is much money floating around over there. If the token price of WAX were $2600 it would be having multimillion dollar sales as well. Both Hive and WAX certainly have ETH beat in terms of fees. It will be interesting to see what this new Binance NFT platform looks like.

I think it is totally worth it! If it tanks, you don't know me :) I don't think it will though. They have a lot of awesome stuff in the works. Developers and creators are coming to the chain in droves.
