I'll admit I totally forgot about HPUD Hive Power Up day yesterday that happens on the first of each month. Mainly because I was so busy watching the markets and seeing $HIVE Finally climb to the $0.40 mark.

Now exciting as it is to see this again we also have to realize that it's only starting to reach where it was a year ago. When bitcoin was worth around $25,000 or less which has doubled if not nearly tripled in size since then. If we did a direct comparison it means we should be seeing a $1.20 hive as long as value was held.

Personally I won't be hyped until Hive hits the $1 mark again and then doesn't break below that for a few months showing it can hold it's grown.

I still feel like too many funds are exiting the platform compared to the values that are brought in. But that's an old story now which I wont continue to harp on. Instead my hive powered up and how I cast my votes is how that will be done rolling forward. I would also say I feel like it's gotten a little better and people in the community are holding apps and others a little more accountable in order to preserve the wealth in the system instead of a select few extracting it. So it's progression at least in the small scale for now.

What's New

Besides the price there are other things new that have been going on. Let's dive into what those area.

Splinterlands once again has come out with a massive update. This time around battles and ranking system. And I have to say I think the only people that would be a ounce bit upset about this change would be a mega whale at the top. The rewards are much more steady for all players and the amount of rewards you can earn are actully high. It also encourages now people to max out their cards.

Outside of that InLeo has also had some big updates. Now for sure (at least that's what we are told for now lol) Is that LeoAds payouts will be going out the first of each month rolling forward. In fact I just got mine you can see it here...

Moving on we are getting some heated up talks about a few of the Blockchain games on Hive which have been a bit slow going due to the bear market. It's expected to see some action out of these within the next 3 months if not sooner. Ones such as MuTerra and Exode

You of course have these solid currently active games on hive that I would highly recommend DCrops, Splinterlands

and some upcoming ones that people are really looking forward to such as Holozing, and Arcade Colony

All in all these some good development happening that hopefully speeds up here in the bull market. My hopes are we also see a lot of new developers come into Hive through core marketing efforts and hackathons.
