The what's new in hive post is a weekly post I do that goes over things I'm aware of that are new to the hive blockchain. Remember these are only things I'm aware of and there could be others so if you have the scoop drop it in the comments and let us all know what's going on with your project or the projects you follow.

Splinterlands

In 72 hours the pre-sale of Rebellion starts in which 500,000 packs will be sold at $5 each with the ability to use vouchers to get some money off each pack. 5 vouchers will get you $1 off each pack. That would make voucher worth now about $0.20 compared to were I and many others thought it was going to be pegged at $1. But at least they are getting used up for once and still have some benefits. It's a nice little perk for staking and holding SPS the governance token of Splinterlands. So not only are you earning a APR on SPS but you're also getting some vouchers to go along with it.

These first 500,000 packs will enable a drop of promo cards. These cards look pretty dang awesome check them out.

Personally I think the 500,000 packs are going to sell out pretty fast. People have been stacking DEC for getting ready for land and it's been far under peg for months.

On the flip side of this I'm also curious what's going to happen once DEC reaches peg. Will we actully see a burning of SPS tokens to DEC and that whole so called fly wheel thing finally gets activated?

On top of that we should also be getting much closer to land 1.5 release so the amount of needed DEC across the board is going to be crazy high demand running into the new year.

WOO

Woo game release got pushed back a bit but it's now expected by the end of the year. This is one of the promising games and I think it's niched enough that it could bring some good traction and even build a solid community of fans to the hive blockchain. In a way I kind of hope they usher in a community and perhaps community token for woo much like Splinterlands did but have it act as some type of reward in game (nothing crazy but something small for a use case could go a long long way)

LEO

Leo is now InLeo and with it we finally got an announcement I've been waiting what feels like two years now. That is a release date for LeoAds in which ad revenue from the platform will now be used to buy back LEO tokens and give them to stake holders. It's also said you will have to be somewhat active on the platform in order to get that payout as well.

This APR will from the sounds of it act much in the way that Hive APR works. Hive's APR currently sits at 3% but I expect LEO at least for the first month or two to be rather high until prices move up and normalize with the new buying pressure.

On top of that today is LPUD Leo Power Up Day and below is a screenshot of what I powered up today. Pushing closer and closer to that 150k goal.

Those are the big updates coming out of the Hive blockchain this week. I suspect a lot more to come as we roll into these final two months of the year as many projects I know about were expected to release by now but seem to be having some delays. I expect and hope for them to be out this year because your November and start of December are one of the heaviest of buying seasons.
