Rant:

300 HP away from that from dolphin status! Maybe a little less but who's counting?

I am still updating goals every 100HP or so on the platform. I know many people do these a lot more often but this is my Hive flow so I just keep flowing like this.

I missed the last Hive Power Up Day of 2023 like a freaking amateur but I feel like I'll be able to make up for some of that in 2024. I'm getting in a better position to be able to buy a little Bitcoin on a semi-regular basis again and along with that I'll of course be picking up a little Hive along the way too.

This is gonna be my last Hive Goals Update for 2024 and I'm starting to think about some of my goals for Hive going into 2024, especially after I reach dolphin status.

I know one of the biggest things I want to do is find ways to use Hive key aspect of my podcast. I'm still working on improving the overall quality of my show but along with Podcasting 2.0 tools, Hive is going to be a big part of what I do with the Uncle Project Podcast.

As of right now, 3Speak is the only place where I upload full video versions of the podcast and just drop verticle shorts to places like YouTube, X, Pinterest, Instagram, etc...

I feel like I'm getting the look of the clips down. Now I just need to find ways to get better on the mic, add show elements like a soundboard, start doing intentional engagement segments, and bring on guests, all so I can have better clips to share...

On the Hive side of things, I'd like to be able to post episodes here straight from the RSS feed somehow. I still see people posting their podcasts through aureal.one, but I feel like it's because they had it set up in the past. I'm a keep my fingers crossed and hope that I can find a way to do this on Cast Garden though. 🤞🏾

It's a matter of finding a weekend to set it up. I drop a lot of Hive links in the show notes and Spotify segments just as a way of trying to build some links where I can and catch some of the more curious folks.

Podcasting is just such a powerful tool that I want to learn it and get to a point where my podcast is just as valuable to me as my blog is to me here on Hive while using some Hive tools along the way of course.

But yeah after reaching Dolphin status I'm planning on doing a lot more broadcasting the posts that I do here in different places and podcasting is the perfect tool to do this.

I can create more engaging content, I can multipurpose an episode for content in a ton of places, and I feel like people would enjoy being a guest on a podcast so it gives me more opportunities to connect with others from all kinds of backgrounds. There's just so much of an upside to figuring out how to make good podcast episodes that I can't NOT figure out how to do it and make it fun along the way.

But that's enough ranting, let's get into some more of these Hive engine numbers, THAT I HAD TO GET FROM BEE SWAP!
