The Rain story...

I am not really a big fan of rain not from the beginning. I used to play in the rain when I was a kid I am sure we all have done that. Those were golden days, what do you think? But as I did grow old I am kind of running away from the rain, My experience was not that much good with rain in the past 10 years. Now I do live in a decent house but before it was not in good condition.
We used to live in an old house with the old style. The house was unrepaired we were living in rent at that time, and the upper floors were not constructed properly it was old and the owners were not there for years. So the place was kind of messy.

I still do remember when it was raining me and my brother used to cover the roof with plastic sheets. Those were the traffic days of my life, I used to be afraid of the rain at that time, we don't own that house so we can't be construed at that time. Those were realy hard days for us. I was sad when it was raining we used to put utensils under many places where the water used to drop from the roof. If it was raining all night it is really hard to sleep. we used to change the utensils after a few hours.

I do think those were really bad days for me, the hardest part was putting the plastic sheets on the roof. The roof was slippery it is really hard to do that type of work, the roof was of stone so in the rainy season it was really hard to claim that. One of our neighboring brothers used to help us with that, he was living in that area for many years. He was very careful about what to do when it was raining he used to help us to put the plastic on the roof. Now we do have a good house now there is no problem with rain, not for me but still I do feel sad for the people who live in huts made of grass. Can you imagine how hard life is for them if there is rain?

A few years back, I was traveling with my mother to visit my sister she lives around 90 km away from my city. It was the rainy season and the road was under construction at that time. I was so scared of the rain that the road was broken in many places, it was getting hard for the engineers to construct in this type of situation. There were kilometers of traffic jams on the road you can imagine the situation it was raining, the roads were broken in many places and the mountains were shifting in a few places. It was so scary situation at that time, many passengers did run away from the buses. They did think that the mountains are gonna collapse which was really scary part for me about rain, I think this is why I am still afraid of rain while traveling mostly.
