Washed away

So, all the snow from yesterday have been completely washed away. This just means that walking around will be much easier.

I saw pictures from Finland and the colder parts of Europe and all I had is gratitude for what we have here. I can't imagine having to actually live with snow as a norm but that's life in colder parts of the world.

Right now, all we have is rain. It has been raining all day and while the drop are very cold they have done their bit in washing away the snow.

I actually feared that there would be a bit more snow. It turned out all my fears were for nothing because there's not going to be any serious "wintering" for a while.

In retrospect, maybe I could have relished the moment a bit more than I did. Perhaps I could have "enjoyed" the snow more and not been a sour puss about it.

It's just hard to look beyond freezing my balls off and that feeling of being in mortal danger that the temperature comes with. If I ever see snow again, which I must add that I don't want to see, I will touch it with my hands.
