The next lockdown

2020 has been one weird year and the festive season came to give us a breather. In a period when there's a lot of tension over the rising number of Corona virus cases, we still managed to have fun and all that stuff.

Yesterday, I went to a bunch of places and visited my people. I experienced a minor Christmas miracle when I ran into my best friend's dad and while we were sat together, the too of our conversation was how the impending second wave of lockdown will affect everyone economically.

The first thought was that while a new vaccine is out, pharmaceuticals are going to be making a shit ton of money. While we were talking, I was thinking about how I could be a part of the winning team and invest in something along that line, because that's just how I do.

Most billionaires have invested in literally everything that will he profitable. They front one major bag like a front Hive, but in reality, their hands are ass deep in all types of businesses.

The last lockdown was actually very productive for me, even though I suffered emotionally, and whenever another one comes around, I intend to milk it to the fullest. This time, I'll be mentally prepared for whatever life throws at me and will be able to take it in my stride.

The point is that if or when the next lockdown comes around, you should first of all steel yourself, then embrace the situation and finally, find a way to profit off it in a way that sits well with your conscience.

I wonder why people still accept this shit. It's a damn year since the corona started. How long are people gonna get fooled into this fake pandemic? It's a damn flu...

We're in our 3rd lockdown here in the UK, it's turning in to the lockdown hokie-cokie! In out in out shake it all about! For an introvert like me, I'm mostly OK with it all, can spend time blogging and earning some crypto for the future but yeah, our stocks and profits have soared in the company I work at with our covid testing product line (unsurprisingly)!

Pharma might be a good shout, any company that develops vaccines or healthcare equipment will always be in demand - you're in engineer so you probably knew that anyway but yeah, to break away from the mold, you need to think and act differently to the rest! Hope your new investments work out!

You know, at the end of the day, it is about dipping your toes into any opportunity that brings money in a way that allows you sleep at night.

A part of me believes that there's a conspiracy behind this virus shit. I don't have any theories but logically speaking, something seems off. However, I'm not the one that created the virus, nor am I the one that's spreading it, so I might as well profit off of it instead of whine about it.

I agree with that first bit! Life is full of risk with every heartbeat seeing as that can stop at any minute so I always feel I have to try things out. Probably a little reckless for my own good sometimes but I am getting better at not just "diving in" like I used to... jeez, I might be getting old haha!

Ah, when you work in the health care/equipment industry or you've had covid hit your family, you'll think differently regarding the virus (speaking from experience)! At least you are actually looking to see how you can get something out of the situation, which is a pretty good trait to have. Hope your investments work out for you!

2020 was a very challenging year due to the global pandemic. It seems as if in one moment the whole world stopped, rebooted and started to think about how to live now in the new reality and with new rules. I wish everyone good health!
