Sleep is my friend

Lately, I just can't seem to get enough sleep. It's as a result of a lot of things with weather being at the top of the list.

Honestly, nights just don't seem like they ever want to end. I start the day in the dark and pretty much stays that way until afternoon.

On some days, I have to start my shift by 8am and despite the shop being a couple of minutes away, I still have start at least one hour before. I have to eat breakfast because I don't want to spend any extra on lunch.

Getting out of bed is the most difficult part of the day, for me. I basically have to drag myself out of bed every morning and there's no getting used to the feeling.

I reckon it feels even harder because I've been off work for about week and my body is still adjusting to the work life. Anyway, I'm glad I don't have to go and do any heavy lifting at the workplace.

It's a great thing to no longer do heavy lifting!

One of the things that I do in the wintertime to help kick start the day, seems foolish but look at the sun! When we see the sun coming up even for just a minute, it kicks off natural processes that get us ready for the day. Give it a try!
