One more day

There's still a lot to sort out but I'm doing my best to get life underway. I sent out a couple of job applications that didn't require national insurance to complete.

National Insurance is one of the most important documents around here and it takes up to four weeks to process. Although, most people that applied for theirs said it took about a week to get theirs, I'm not putting my hopes on their estimation.

We're in London but it really feels like we haven't gotten life started. Our clothes are still in our bags and we're still technically homeless.

It's just one more day until we head to Nottingham and the jitters are once again setting in. I'm confident in our ability to be productive and I think it'll all be fine.

I followed @forexbrokr's advice and have been applying for a lot of sales and marketing jobs. As Dane put it, I'll have to put my boot through the door and hit the ground running.

I've done marketing in Nigeria but never in the UK. However, the general principles are the same and I think I'll have a higher chance to succeed here.

I've not started looking at health related jobs but at some point, I'll have to. There are a lot of jobs on offer in that field and once I've gotten the necessary documents, I'll start exploring that field as well.

Right now, the main aim is to secure a job that'll provide the basics and hopefully, pay our rent before the end of September.

That sounds like a lot. You really need to hit the ground running as it stands but I do hope you can secure a good job pretty soon. Lots of love to you and your family.
