Meeting a Hive and Leofinance author later today

Technically speaking, I've met a couple of Hive people in the past but those are all people that I knew before joining Hive. Despite being a blockchain and cryptocurrency project, Hive has that social part of it that connects people from around the world.

There are a number of people that I am looking forward to meeting and drinking a beer with someday. Most of you are in different countries from me but some are in the same country as me.

One of the interesting people in Nigeria that I've always wanted to meet is @nonsowrites. He's a regular author on Leofinance and Hive and seems like a standup guy.

I decided to visit Lagos to scratch a long time itch, and that's also where Nonso resides. We'll be meeting up today, so it is technically a Leofinance and Hive meetup.

It's nothing fancy really, I just want to drink beer and move around Lagos without my babysitter for once. I'm a bit nervous because I don't know my way around but how hard can it actually be?

Lagos isn't big in the traditional sense of space but it is very busy and has a lot of moving parts. It is a place you can easily get lost in and I mean it literally. We'll see how it goes.
