Heading to Nottingham

After many rejections from Bolt and Uber, we finally found our way to the National express bus station. It was a very smooth trip with a very friendly driver named John that told us a thing or two about living in the UK.

One of the highlights of the trip was when John pointed out some fancy flats close to a waterway that cost £2 million pounds. Must be nice.

We'll be embarking on a three hour trip from London to Nottingham where we will then navigate our way to our place. It is at this city that we will then proceed to settle in and start figuring out life in the UK.

So far, people have been very helpful to us. It always seems like there's always someone willing to help you out with something, whenever You're in need.

Anyway, the national express buses are those very huge coaster buses that I've always wanted to ride in. Luckily, unlike our flight to the UK, I and my wife will be sitting beside each other throughout the trip.

I am very hungry right now but our financial situation isn't quite secure enough for me to buy things on a whim. Every little bit counts now, so we'll have to starve until at least 2-3pm.

Thanks bro. Yeah, we'll be fine. I've drank some water, so that should hold me until we finally get food.

I hope you managed to eat on time.

It’s great how friendly people are in a lot of these places. Much different than the shit that is all over the news and social media. Regular people are everywhere and willing to help and chat!
