Always room for mushrooms

In recent times, I've been using mushrooms in my meals and it really feels right. For the most part, mushrooms are somewhat tasteless but I like how they feel.

I've used them in a variety of ways that don't follow any particular recipe. I just go with the flow and use them like any other vegetable in my arsenal.

I particularly enjoy making stir fried things with them. To do that, I simply chop the mushrooms up into bits and then stir fry it with onions and pretty much any other vehicle that I can get my hands on.

I've also been experimenting with tortilla wraps and they also go white nicely with the mushroom stir fry. Once, I added some chicken into the mix and then threw it into wraps. I have to say, that was quite nice.

I've used a couple different types of mushrooms but the one that I frequently get is chestnut mushroom. It is as tasteless as the other flavours of mushrooms I've tried but I favour it because it is the cheapest of the lot.

I reckon there are probably nicer mushrooms out there that are tastier and maybe even have a different texture. When I actually learn a proper mushroom recipe, I'll buy the nicer flavours.

Mushrooms with chicken, it really does taste nice. There are so many mushrooms that taste nicer than others no doubt and I hope you get to find them

I’m more on the White button mushroom or portabella myself. There are certainly lots of different mushrooms though! Oysters are an easy one as well but aside from those 3 I don’t know many others lol. The others are a little too expensive for me!
