1K Hive power milestone reached

It has been a long time coming and I'm pleased to say that I've finally reached 1K Hive power staked. I'm way ahead of schedule and moving at quite the rapid pace.

I set out to reach 5K Hive power by the end of the year and what seemed liked a lofty target is starting to seem surpassable. I'm not getting ahead of myself though and I'll maintain the target I set because things could change pretty quickly.

I've been buying Hive directly from Nigerian-based Hive accounts over the past couple of weeks and it has proven to be a decent strategy.

Buying directly from people ensures that I don't have to pay exchange fees, this saving me quite a bit. It is pretty much the same for the sellers who would have to go through a rigorous process laced with transfer losses to liquidate their Hive.

With Bitcoin Halving just around the corner and the potential bulk market as a result of it on the horizon, it is safe to say that this is the best time to buy Hive.

In the worst case scenario of a bull market, I'll at least double my money. Not exactly crazy life changing money considering the current price of Hive but it is better than nothing.

In the best case scenario, Hive goes on one of those aggressive and FOMO inducing bull runs that attracts the sugar ants from all over cryptopia. That would result in an insane number of transactions on the blockchain, a lot more interactions and an underlying feel good effect that runs through the entire community. This in turn means not only hive pumps but so does Splinterlands, Leo token, and GLS products, amongst many others.

The point is, you simply cannot go wrong with buying hive right now. If you're staking? Even better, considering your curation rewards appreciate in value when the pump comes around.

I'm towing the middle line between staking and holding. I'll be staking towards my 5K Hive power target while keeping a small bit liquid to cash in on whenever the opportunity presents itself.

If you're looking to buy hive, I think now is as good a time to buy than ever. There's not much attention on the asset these days and that has allowed it to trade under the radar, making it quite cheap.

Hive is an asset from an ecosystem that offers a variety of ways to earn, share your views and participate in governance. It offers investors and users the chance to be a part of a continuously growing ecosystem with a variety of thriving projects making strides in crypto, DeFi,web 3 gaming and social media.

So, I'll continue growing my hive account and having milestones. My next target is 1500 Hive power and if I continue at this pace, it shouldn't be that far away.
