There's a huge market for memecoins to generate revenue not just speculative pumps

Every social network out there is destroying itself by trying to become all encompassing rather than having a niche.

I'd admit, it's not a terrible idea when there's less competition, but now that there is, it might be the absolute worst.

First, people are beginning to hate social spaces because of the reality of seeing a lot shits that not only isn't of their interests but is downright offensive.

These flaws beg the need for social apps that focus on specific content areas because no matter how small the market might look when you're outside looking in, it's often a lot bigger on the inside.

Ask Google, people search for a lot of weird things of various niches in high volumes.

This is why we have music streaming apps that host a variety of songs but still, people would go on playstore and search for “Christmas Songs App” or “Children Rhymes App”. There's always a gap in the industry to fill, people's wants are changing, there's more demand for niche spaces that block off every other thing.

There's apps with audio books, but people might still want apps with specifically “romance audio books”, get it?

Always an industry to feed.

Memecoins and the comedy industry

If it wasn't already obvious that this is where I was headed, well, there it is.

Laughing is the best medicine, yeah? So why not monetize that through a token literally built as a joke?

That is a huge content network that can be rewarding to a lot of memecoins, not just one.

Whilst some people are looking for funny videos, others are looking for funny stickers or photos and others are looking for GIFs, others are looking for funny books, others are looking to discover funny events of the past and the list goes on.

The deeper you dig, the more products there are to discover that can become a means of driving massive value to these memecoins and guess what?

Supply doesn't matter.

I always find people talking about supply like it's some sort of huge limitation, truth be told, that's simply coming from a moonbag boy, always after coins that will moon soon as they are limited in supply hence easily pumped - by their thinking but the reality is that there's no difference really.

Supply is even more of a flexibility in the long run.

That said, how's there no difference? Think about it. If I held $100 of Shiba Inu and $100 of bitcoin and both coins increased in value by 10%, wouldn't I still have an equal value increase both ways?

Did the supply of Shiba cause me not to earn that 10% increase? Of course not. It's quite totally the same.

Also, the reasons we focus so much on supply and miss opportunities to build value is that most crypto projects are not after building and selling products or services with actual market value, it's just token selling, and hype all the way up, inflation with no income streams.

That said, there's rather a huge network for memecoins to build revenue, given that they are memecoins at core, that just makes it absolutely easy to integrate with such a niche as comedy and really spark some interest within the community or ecosystem.

Only a matter of time? Maybe.

Do you have any specific one's that you think could or would work best for the comedy niche? I find that to be a very interesting realm of possibility. I do know that within the next 5 years there will be no more empty likes, I think our individual user experiences will be monetized to death and the industries are going to have to figure out a better way to keep everyone engaged across the board because there's just too much to consume in a life time being made on a daily basis at this point.

Thanks for your thought provoking post.

Uhm, I'd say Pepe has quite the community, unlike many meme figures than come and go, pepe has stayed so long, should at this point be comparable to the Simpsons and SpongeBob in terms of how much movie can be made with it without the audience being bored out.

Everything is getting monetize at this point, no one platform will be able to rule them all, the audience has to most definitely be spread across niche spaces.
