Knitted and embroidered headphone cover (EN-ES)

Happy and productive week, my dear friends of the needles. I hope you enjoyed the weekend to the fullest, together with your loved ones.

I took advantage of the inspiration left by friend @kattycrochet and my new yarns to knit very enthusiastically, during the weekend.

It's this post Katty shared a beautiful headphone case that she was going to give to her sister and I loved it. So much so that I wanted to make one for myself and super motivated I got to work.

For this project I chose blue yarn, it's a vibrant and eye-catching color that I really like.

Aproveché la inspiración que me dejó la amiga @kattycrochet y mis hilos nuevos para tejer muy entusiasmada, durante el fin de semana.

Es esta publicación Katty compartió un hermoso estuche para audífonos que le iba a regalar a su hermana y a mí encantó. Tanto que quise hacer uno para mí y súper motivada me puse manos a la obra.

Para este proyecto escogí el hilo de color azul, es un color vibrante y llamativo que me gusta mucho.

What I like most about knitting or embroidery is that I can take the project anywhere. I have everything in a little bag that I don't leave for anything when I go to work, because any time is a good time to stitch some embroidery or knitting. And when I'm at home, I knit on my bed, on the computer chair or in the kitchen.

This blue cover for my headphones I started knitting on Saturday. I knitted the first part in the store, while there were no customers. It's a challenge because in my head I keep repeating the last stitches I made, while I'm taking orders, hahaha. I finished it this Sunday, in the quiet of my house.

I started the knitting, starting from 15 chains and then I made single crochet from the second chain to knit 14 stitches in each row.

Lo que más me gusta de tejer o de bordar es que me puedo llevar el proyecto para cualquier lado. Tengo todo en un bolsito que no dejo por nada cuando me voy a trabajar, pues cualquier ratito es bueno para dar unas puntadas en un bordado o en un tejido. Y cuando estoy en casa, tejo en mi cama, en la silla de la computadora o en la cocina.

Esta funda azul para mis audífonos la comencé a tejer el sábado. Tejí la primera parte en el negocio, mientras no había clientes. Es un reto porque en mi cabeza quedo repitiendo los últimos puntos que hice, mientras atiendo algún pedido, jajaja. La terminé este domingo, en la quietud de mi casa.

Comencé el tejido, a partir de 15 cadenetas y luego hice puntos bajos desde la segunda cadeneta para tejer en cada vuelta 14 puntos.

With the two parts of the cover finished, I kept thinking about what I would do to put a little decoration on it. It was then that I thought about embroidering on the fabric to see how it would look. I took out my skeins to do some simple embroidery.

I embroidered some daisies with their leaves and I loved the result. It looks like a delicate work, with a country feel. Honestly, I liked it a lot, I was satisfied and very happy. What about you? Tell me! What did you think of this combination of fabric and embroidery?

Con las dos partes de la funda terminadas, me quedé pensando en qué haría para ponerle algún adornito. Fue, entonces, cuando pensé en bordar sobre el tejido a ver qué tal quedaba. Saqué mis madejas para hacer un bordado sencillo.

Bordé unas margaritas con sus hojitas y me encantó el resultado. Se ve un trabajo delicado, con un aire campestre. Honestamente, me gustó mucho, quedé satisfecha y muy contenta. ¿Y a ustedes? ¡Cuéntenme! ¿Qué les pareció esta combinación de tejido y bordado?

To take the photos for this publication, I looked for some flowers that I have at home and that seemed perfect to create the composition.

Once again, I owe to knitting and embroidery my moments of peace, creativity and pleasure.
