Money Meets Romance; Valentine’s, Couples, and Presents

Hi lovers and frens. Valentine’s Day is around the corner and gifts vendors on social platforms have refused to let the single breathe. Brands are steady rolling out different gifts ideas and packages and I’m not even mad. I love gifts; I like giving them and receiving them. I think it is a beautiful thing to have someone whom you get to alter the course of their day or switch up their feelings by getting them a thoughtful present.

How do you decide what present to give your significant other?

Do you try to indirectly figure out what they want at the time or you just go ahead to get them anything you think they might like? Or do you outrightly ask them what they would like? When it comes to giving presents, thoughtfulness is key. It is important to give people what they would actually want and use, that way they would place more value on it.

A lot of people are usually indecisive when it comes to what presents to give to their person, other times they are just clueless. However, I believe that if you truly care or are actively involved in the evening minute details of your partner’s life, you would surely be able to give them valuable gifts. One time I watched a TikTok video where a couple goes on a thirty or sixty seconds shopping spree for each other.

When it was time to compare their items, it tuned out to be grossly one sided. The woman happened to buy the most thoughtful valuable gifts for her boyfriend; she picked things he would actually use like headphones, video games, and a bunch of other stuff I don’t recall. When it got to the man’s turn, she and all of who watched the video were disappointed in his choices. His items were lame as f*uck. I felt sorry for her.

My point is, get involved. Listen to your partners, and when it is time to buy them a present, put in effort to make it a thoughtful one. And if it happens that you are not sure what to give, take advantage of the array of gift curators on instagram and have them tailor something thoughtful your person. If you are going to buy from a physical gift shop, feel free to ask the store attendant to help you out.

Some thoughtful gift ideas you can give this Valentine’s are:

  • Flowers: Almost everyone loves flowers; you can’t go wrong with them. Flowers are a classic symbol of expressing love and affection. They carry such beautiful energy and convey a message of admiration and romantic feelings. You can never go wrong with a bouquet of their favorite flowers. Flowers are not for women alone, men deserve flowers too.

  • Customized Memory log: You can compile a memory log of all your beautiful special moments with pictures and notes that embody your journey together. It’s like a love letter pro max. I promise you, they will look at us everyday all while smiling sheepishly.

  • A romantic getaway: “ Habibi, let’s go to Dubai.” You and your partner deserve a weekend away in some resort; whether exotic or remote. Arrange for a little get away within in your budget and go make cherishable memories with your bae.

  • Jewelry: A good jewelry is an everlasting reminder of your affection. Choose a jewelry that has sentimental value or just plain gorgeous for your person. They will cherish it and probably never take it off if it suitable to wear on all occasions.

  • Perfumes: Next time you compliment your person for smelling delicious, it would be lovely to be the reason behind that scent. If you are unsure of what perfume to buy, ask a vendor to help you. You can even tell them what fragrances she already uses and have them choose or curate something nice based on it.

  • Spa day: Listen, every girl loves them some tender loving care; and men too. You can book a spa or beauty treatment day for both(or more) of you and go ensure all the sensual energy that comes with it.

  • Books Books Books: If your person loves to read them you know what to do. Ads a couple books to your gift package to further sweep them off their feet.

  • Clean out their shopping cart: If you can afford to buy everything in their cart then buy some.

  • Gym Gear and Membership Renewal: If your partner is into fitness then you may want to consider buying them a set of new gears or renewing their gym membership.

All these and many more are some of the presents ideas you can give to your partners this valentine’s. Don’t be boring.
