Protecting Your Online Security: Tips and Insights for Hivians

The word "security" is one that is used the most frequently in daily life. We have two different kinds of securities, one for offline activities and the other for online ones. To uphold law, order, and discipline, both of them are necessary in human life. So, in this post I will talk about security and share my opinions. This type of online security needs to be safeguarded in some way in order to prevent any losses.

The topic is critical, particularly for Hivians, because we need to protect our assets. When you change your password in HIVE, they have written it clearly about the rules that DONT LOSE YOUR PASSWORD AND ALWAYS BACK YOUR PASSWORD These are the securities for which you are solely responsible, and you are not to blame anyone for the loss of the key or password. These securities are worth our consideration, and we must exercise caution and protect them in any way we can.

Passwords and keys, in my opinion and review, must be stored in any offline mode, whether hard copy or any other instrument. If I talk about myself, I keep all of my passwords on hard copies and never store them online or on PC drives where hackers can easily access them. Never share your passwords on any social media platform with your friends because doing so opens the door for a hacker to steal your account.

I don't use a programme to store my passwords, but I do use some techniques to keep hackers out of my account. I'll share a tip with you as well; the tip is simple: change your password on a monthly basis and make a hard copy of it. If your account is very valuable, you must do it; otherwise, you must change your password every three months. I change my password on a monthly basis, and after doing so, I print it and keep it somewhere safe in my house.

There are numerous applications that can store your keys, but I do not trust them. I don't want to jeopardize my assets by doing trust on all of those applications. I only use my active account to access HIVE KEYCHAIN and HIVESIGNER the first time, and then I delete all the passwords from my laptop. Another secure method is to store the passwords on a flash drive. But keep in mind that you should not use that flash drive for data transfer or image sharing. Simply purchase a 4GB USB and dedicate it solely to passward sharing. Also, don't rely solely on USB because it can become corrupt at any time. Use hardcopy in addition to USB for password protection.

One of the hcakers hacked one of my close relatives, whose account username is ghazanfar.ali. He had approximately 2500 HIVE and had lost all of his assets. He approached ECENCY and HIVE management for help with the recovery, but they had no options as well. After that, I became more cautious about keeping my passward secure.

This is my attempt to inform you about the greatest security topics and to offer my opinions on how to safeguard your password. I hope you like the post and found it interesting and informative. Please leave a comment if you enjoyed the post so that the next one might be even better. Thank you for sticking with me all the way to the end.
