Ustedes quizá pensaron que el "nos vamos a Paraguay" era más una publicación sobre viajes que sobre algo relacionado a un evento, pero ¡sí, nos vamos a Paraguay! Porque Hive será sponsor de un grandioso evento en Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, llamado "Crypto Summit del Sur". En este evento tendremos la oportunidad de conocer al "Hong Kong de Latinoamérica" y al segundo país con la electricidad más económica del mundo. Pero vamos a contarles un poco desde el principio: ¿Qué es este evento?

You may have thought that "we are going to Paraguay" was more of a travel post than an event related post, but yes, we are going to Paraguay! Because Hive will be sponsoring a great event in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, called "Crypto Summit del Sur". In this event we will have the opportunity to meet the "Hong Kong of Latin America" and the second country with the cheapest electricity in the world. But let's tell you a little bit from the beginning: What is this event?

Crypto Summit del Sur nace de la necesidad de dar a conocer todo lo que es Bitcoin, la minería y blockchain en general a los habitantes de Ciudad del Este. Esto se debe a que, al ser una ciudad frontera con dos países y tener mucho comercio, además de la ventaja de la electricidad económica, muchas empresas mineras estaban construyendo sus nuevas bases en tierras paraguayas. De ahí nació la idea del evento. Espero poder tener la oportunidad de conversar con los organizadores más adelante y así poder darles muchos más detalles sobre todo esto.

Ya han realizado dos ediciones, además de la edición "del Caribe" en el 2022. Esta es la tercera edición a la que asistiremos y en la cual Hive es sponsor.

Crypto Summit del Sur was born out of the need to raise awareness of Bitcoin, mining and blockchain in general among the inhabitants of Ciudad del Este. This is because, being a border city with two countries and having a lot of trade, in addition to the advantage of economic electricity, many mining companies were building their new bases in Paraguayan lands. That's where the idea for the event was born. I hope to have the opportunity to talk to the organisers at a later date and be able to give you much more details about all this.

They have already held two editions, in addition to the "Caribbean" edition in 2022. This is the third edition we will be attending and Hive is a sponsor.

Junto con nuestra participación como sponsor del evento, las diferentes cuentas de redes sociales del mismo comenzaron a publicar mi participación como speaker. La charla tendrá una duración de 30 minutos y espero poder grabarla o tomar fotos para mostrárselas a todos ustedes. En esta ocasión, hablaré de un tema diferente a las charlas anteriores.

Estoy deseosa de traerles muchas buenas y positivas noticias de nuestra participación en Paraguay, así como lo hicimos en Argentina. Participar en eventos es escribir la historia de Hive en la vida de muchas personas, con detalles tan grandes como una pulsera o una explicación, o tan pequeños como que simplemente vean nuestro logo y nos busquen en redes sociales. Es hermoso poder ser parte de la historia de todos los asistentes, aunque sea por un instante.
