[ESP-ENG] Celebrando el cumpleaños de mi abuela en una fecha especial // Celebrating my grandmother's birthday on a special date

Today, I will be telling you a little bit about my grandmother's birthday, who celebrated another year of life on a special date, as it is this February 14, where we celebrate Happy Love and Friendship Day.

Hoy 14 de Febrero del año 2021, se celebra el Feliz día de San Valentín, en donde resalta el amor y la amistad, siendo estos dos elementos importantes para establecer una consolidación hacia un futuro estupendo. Sin embargo, este día no estuve con mis amigos, ni mucho menos con una novia, ya que no tengo, aunque, para sorpresa de todos, este día estuvo colmado de muchas expectativas increíbles, debido a que sorprendimos a mi abuela Eloina Pereira con su regalo de cumpleaños, el cual fue una torta, donde todos los de la familia colaboraron para que se hiciera posible este detalle sorprendente e impactante para mi doñita del alma.
Today, February 14, 2021, is celebrated Happy Valentine's Day, where love and friendship are highlighted, being these two important elements to establish a consolidation towards a great future. However, this day I was not with my friends, much less with a girlfriend, since I do not have one, although, to everyone's surprise, this day was filled with many incredible expectations, because we surprised my grandmother Eloina Pereira with her birthday gift, which was a cake, where everyone in the family collaborated to make possible this surprising and shocking detail for my doñita del alma.
Foto tomada por mi, con mi teléfono inteligente alcatel tetra, en el Sector la Puente, de la Cañada, en Monagas, VenezuelaAsimismo, para hacer posible este detalle, tuvimos que colaborar entre toda la familia con los ingredientes para la torta, la cual fue hecha por la vecina Betzy Perez, quien me cobro 1.000 mil bolívares, adornando y dándole un toque brillante a la torta de mi abuela. Por supuesto, la otra torta es de mi prima Stefania Vera, a quien también le cantamos cumpleaños, ya que el 13 de este cumplió 15 años.
Also, to make this detail possible, we had to collaborate among the whole family with the ingredients for the cake, which was made by the neighbor Betzy Perez, who charged me 1,000 thousand bolivars, decorating and giving a bright touch to my grandmother's cake. Of course, the other cake is my cousin Stefania Vera's, to whom we also sang her birthday, as she turned 15 on the 13th of this year.

De igual manera, para que la sorpresa se hiciera realidad, decidí hablar con mi abuelo Pedro Pereira y decirle: "Le tenemos una torta a la abuela, pendiente". Con un silencio y unas caras de felicidad de parte de nosotros, decidimos finalmente a las 5:30 de la tarde (Hora Venezolana) cantarle el cumpleaños a mi abuela, quien sólo esperaba la torta de su nieta Stefania Vera, siendo esta última la que traería la torta de chocolate. Aparte, cuando estábamos cantando el cumpleaños, note el rostro de felicidad de mi princesa hermosa (abuela). Comprendí que su alegría al cantar su cumpleaños, era parte de mi emoción.
What a joy to see my grandmother happy!
In the same way, to make the surprise come true, I decided to talk to my grandfather Pedro Pereira and tell him: "We have a cake for grandma, pending". With a silence and some happy faces on our part, we finally decided at 5:30 in the afternoon (Venezuelan time) to sing the birthday to my grandmother, who was only waiting for the cake from her granddaughter Stefania Vera, being the latter the one who would bring the chocolate cake. Besides, when we were singing the birthday, I noticed the happy face of my beautiful princess (grandmother). I understood that her joy in singing her birthday was part of my excitement.

Stefania Vera, al lado de mi abuela, me decía: "Dale Anthony, es el momento, toma la foto". Al captar la foto, me llene de impresión, al ver que mi abuela se sentía contenta.
And yes friends, as you can see in this photo, my grandmother's face of happiness and joy is unmatched, as she looks with great satisfaction as she bites her cake with her right hand. Stefania Vera, next to my grandmother, was telling me: "Come on Anthony, it's time, take the picture". As I took the picture, I was filled with awe, seeing that my grandmother was happy.
Foto tomada por mi, con mi teléfono inteligente alcatel tetra, en donde aparece mi abuela con el obsequio que le dio su nieta Stefania VeraFinalmente, al terminar de picar las dos tortas y repartir los respectivos pedazos de lo antes mencionado, mi abuela se tomo una foto digna de una sorpresa inesperada. Mi abuela en términos generales, la paso muy bien. Ella, ni esperaba una torta este 14 de Febrero, debido a la situación país que vive Venezuela, en donde hacemos todo lo posible por comprar productos alimenticios.
Finally, when we finished cutting the two cakes and distributing the respective pieces of the aforementioned, my grandmother took a picture worthy of an unexpected surprise. My grandmother, in general terms, had a great time. She did not even expect a cake this February 14th, due to the country situation in Venezuela, where we do everything possible to buy food products.
