Mastercard will Enter in Crypto Space this Year in 2021

This week we had a fantastic movement in cryptocurrency because of Tesla's purchase of Bitcoin and this news has played a significant role to move the price of Bitcoin forward. it seems like this year 2021 has been doing great so far and even this will do much better in the remaining months for the price of Bitcoin.

We are preparing right now for the future of crypto and payments, announcing that this year Mastercard will start supporting select cryptocurrencies directly on our network," Raj Dhamodharan, executive vice president of digital asset products said in a blog on Wednesday

MasterCard is one of the biggest companies in the world operating financial services through their cards and they have headquartered in New York United States. they have a bigger user database with them and India also is one of the biggest markets for them where they have tied up with many banks and financial institutions for their services. they have announced today that they are going to add the option to pay using cryptocurrency later this year and I feel this is one of the biggest news because this will give big support and boost for the mass adoption.

we must understand that to get the mass adoption we need to bring the real use case in place and if people will be able to pay for the good sense services using crypto then this is one of the biggest steps towards achieving this milestone.

Mastercard said it will not support all cryptocurrencies on its network, as many of them need to tighten their compliance measures. "We will be very thoughtful about which assets we support based on our principles for digital currencies, which focus on consumer protection and compliance," the company said.

After PayPal's entry, MasterCard in the crypto segment will make things easy for many of you just who are still not part of this segment but they will get the option to use the crypto for their daily life things and this will be a big milestone for sure. it will be interesting to see how they start this addition on their platform and what country they are going to choose1st and if they consider India then it would be great for the Indian community as well. the only problem for the Indian users is that because currently, the government is going through some bills related to crypto and if they push the ban on it then it is going to make things very difficult for the users as well as MasterCard in the country.
