Lots going to be changed in Splinterlands game

This is not the first time when we are going to have overhaul in splinterlands game instead we have seen the similar scenario in the past many times but I think it's been at long time when something big was implemented in the game. The team behind splinterlands keep on changing things to make it better and we can witness those changes from time to time and I think this is also good because this way they are trying to make the game better for the community. Some people complain that they are not able to cope up with the changes because team keep on pushing changes quite frequently but in my opinion this is good because whenever the feel and need for the upgrade, they come forward and do it.

This month we have already seen that how they removed the leaderboards from various league except for the champion and we can still see leagues in the game but these are just indicative. Probably they will remove it completely after sometime but currently it is helpful to understand that in which league, we are playing however there is no connection between that league and the reward. This changes are good and I am happy with that because I am able to unlock more cards for the season and but this is also going to be the last one as the reward system is also going through the overhaul now.

Reward system change

This is going to be the bigger change I believe where the entire reward system is going to be replaced by a new one. Currently we get season chest cards after the end of season and this is post automatically hence we have no control on this and whatever is inside is the reward be have got. Now with the new system we will be given tokens which is called glint.

We can accumulate these tokens to buy something big from the reward shop. The team has mentioned that they will launch the rewards of with many options added already that can be purchased through the glint tokens but they will continue to add more over the period of time and this means we will get more options to choose from. We need to know that SPS will not be part of the shops because they do not want player to buy something valuable using the token and take it away which I think is a fair point. I am not sure how this will work but sounds good and I am looking forward to see how this change will happen with their it will be liked by the community or not. In the current reward system we have no control but later on we will have because we can choose to buy when we want or if we want we can continue to accumulate further.

More Glint for Modern

There is another update which is mentioned on the announcement post that there will be more glint reward for players in model format. Some players question over there that why team is trying to encourage players to plain model and this way they are reducing the value for old edition cards which is not fair. I agree with this point that there should be no bias treatment between the modern are the wild player because it's players choice where they want to play. I have seen the response from the founder that all the higher token reward will be distributed among the player in modern former but this is not going to be so much significant. Maybe a slide increase will be given to the players in modern format and this way they are trying to have more player in model where the real player will be available.

Wild format is the one option where people can use their helpers to play. Since segregation has already done so I think there is no problem because we know if one is holding the old cards then wild is the right choice but holding the latest edition cards can be a good idea to play in modern format. Even I do not have more cards from the latest addition and this is why I continue to play in wild and not going to change my strategy unless I see a significant difference on reward between wild and modern format.

Current season progress

Decision is about to end in almost 4 days and so far I have unlocked 61 season chest which is a fantastic count and I think I have not done this much in last many months. Obviously I am happy to have discount and I expect that by the time this season ends I should be able to have approximately 70 season chests. This number can be little up and down because this this is just an estimation but so far this season is going great and I am looking forward to get the fantastic rewards after the season end.

We are just couple of days left from the end of this season and changes will.be implemented from next season hence a new gaming experience awaits for all the players from next season onwards. There are a few things which I am sceptical about but let's see how it goes.
