Deep down in to Army of Crypto Game

Army of Crypto is a web3 game and its not free to play game. Its been more than a week since I joined the Army of Crypto game but could not check out more about the assets that I've got after the purchase. I am part of their discord server and I have seen some of the updates in which the team is working hard to push some upgrades. This is good because, in every game, development is important and good to see that they are focused on multiple things. The game is in an early stage so it is obvious that if you are playing then you will come across some bugs and that is why it is called in the alpha stage where the developers are looking for those bugs so that they can be fixed.

I got whitelisted on their discord server so I get to know some updates earlier than the community and even they give the option to test certain features to the white list user first but sadly I could not do this. This game can be played only on the installed version on the PC or mobile so I have downloaded it on my PC but haven't played it however I'm planning to do it soon but before that, I would have to understand the basic dynamics of the game. I purchased 6 packs and got one as part of some promotion so I have got 7 packs in total. Each pack has got 14 cards so this way I have 98 cards in total in my account I also have some tokens in the game however I have not downloaded the wallet so all the tokens are lying in the game account.

My in-game Assets

here is the snapshot of my overall in-game assets that include cards, hertz, ONIX token etc and there are 2 wallets. One is for hertz and another is for onix. Hertz is the in-game currency and Onix is the native token. We get certain features with Onix like we can stake and earn some reward. Hertz can be used to buy in-game assets and so far I have not bought anything except the packs.

Here is the summary of cards I have and there are 3 categories of my card holding. It is soldiers generals and magics and out of all I have more soldier cards in my account magics are the second however my least collection is in the form of general cards. there is a different use case for these cards in the game and I will have to learn them before I start playing but for now, it is also important to go through and get familiar with the kind of cards I have so that I can use them well.

Here is a glimpse of the cards I have in my account and if you see that there is information available about the cards and different statistics along with how it can be used in the battle. We also get the option to transfer the card or sell the market since the marketplace is already live so as a player we already have the option to buy and sell which is good because this way we can make our game play better by adding more cards. it's a card game where each card is considered as NFT because it is unique and comes with something different in the game ecosystem.

Marketplace

As I said that we have a marketplace live so there are cards available for buy and sell and with different prices of course as you can see on the below screenshot. for, now I am not going to buy any cards because I already have some and hopefully that should be enough for me to start gaming but if you are someone who is trying to play the game then this can be helpful for you.

I believe before buying the cards it is better to learn and understand the use case of different cards in the game else you might end up buying some cards that might not be a good addition to the account but you'd have spent a good amount on the purchase so it is always suggested to do the thorough research before buying a card from the marketplace.

Why I joined the game

I joined this game because I like the dynamics and the overall concept of this game is built on. It looks nice to me and I'm not sure whether I'll be able to spend time every day playing the game but I'm happy that I own some assets and maybe over the period of time, I will buy more assets just for keeping in the account. Even I have seen that the token price has grown which is good so whoever purchased the token a few weeks back then must be happy with the growth and the kind of value appreciation that has happened.

I believe that Web 3 gaming has got a better future but it is in the early stage and I also know that there are so many projects available but we need to choose the ones that are really good. There is no assurance that each and every project will do well but at least on the basis of research we can invest in some projects that we like and because of that region I find this game interesting so thought of joining it. Blockchain gaming has turned out to be a segment where players and investors both can be part of so if I dont want to play the game then also it is okay because I can generate some returns by investing in the project however for the players it is always good since they can play and enjoy the next level of gaming experience. similarly, I'm also not sure whether I'll be playing it regularly but if things go well then I would love to have some assets over there to see how I can make the most out of it when things are growing. maybe in future, we are going to have the option to earn some passive income through these assets and for sure that is going to be a great opportunity for all the asset holders in the project.

We already have this option available with splinterlands and I expect that this game will also provide the same in future. It should be in their road map so I look forward to seeing that happening soon. While the game is good but I also see that every day some new people are joining the game which means the demand for the assets will increase which will result in an increase in the overall market cap and the value appreciation for various digital assets in the game. There is no comparison in both the games but I hope that since the team is dedicated to this project and new people are coming up so most probably we are going to see some significant growth in the project.

Conclusion

It looks like that joining this game is a complicated process but to be honest it was not and I was able to get Onyx token by using HBD. It's good that they have integrated the Hive and HBD tokens. Now we need not go through the exchanges and the swap can be done within minutes just by doing the wallet transfer which is quite an easy process as I have gone through this. Even there was a campaign that offer a 50% discount on the packs along with some additional reward in the form of hertz tokens so its another bonus. I am happy to get the bonus and I have got more packs as one pack cost $20 and I got it for $10.
