Book by Dale Carnegie - How to win friends and influence people- What Everybody Wants

Hello Everyone

I had published a post about one of the topics from the book by Dale almost a month back. That topic was to figure out the ways to interest people so that we get more cooperation. Its very important to understand what makes the people show their interest and once we get to know them it will help us a lot in many things.

Reading is fun but sometimes because of the busy and hectic schedules its not possible to finish a chapter in a week. This time it took almost 4 weeks and I am back to share another chapter. It is so much fun because whatever I read in the book, I do it with full concentration and this way I thoroughly enjoy reading. These days I am reading the book by Dale Carnegie and book title is "How to win friends and influence people"

Today in this post I want to talk about the topic- What Everybody Wants. These words might look small but I think that finding out this is not at all easy and it requires thorough research and skill to read people's behavior. I don't think that there is any simple way to guess it because everyone has their mind and their expectation and interests are completely different. But if we get this skill and later when we realize what an individual wants then it can surely help us in many ways especially people who are in marketing can make the most out of it.

Many thanks to @crypto.piotr for this wonderful initiative and for allowing reading this book and learning to get something useful out of the book. I also like to thanks @juanmolina for suggesting a wonderful world of knowledge. I see many authors over here reading the book and sharing their thought through the post. This book has a lot to read and this is something that we should read with full concentration so that these topics we understand better and implement in our life.

Be sympathetic with the other person’s ideas and desires.

Everyone has their idea and desires but its common that many people don't show much interest when another person is talking about it. Author Dale has mentioned in this chapter that we need to be sympathetic to the desires and ideas of the people and this way they will gain more faith in us and this can be a good thing in the long run.

Every human and individual has some idea and desires that he wants to achieve in life and he expect that people will pay more attention to their idea and that is what he wants.

This is one of the best-selling books by Dale and even after 70 years, it has a huge audience who likes his thoughts and experiences even now in the year 2020.

I will start reading another topic and will share about it in my next post.

Thank you so much for your time.

Good article, one of the things people want is to feel that you are not alone in understanding that their goals and aspirations are valuable, being able to listen to people helps them to be better I think the author calls it "giving your mental air".

Hello @alokkumar121.

Great article that you share with us in this occasion inspired by the book of the great writer Dale Carnegie, the point raised is very interesting since it is not easy to know what any person wants or desires in a certain moment.
It is important to be able to highlight what you express to us:

I don't think there is an easy way to guess because everyone has their mind and their expectations and interests are completely different. But if we get this ability and later, when we realize what an individual wants, surely it can help us in many ways, especially people who are in marketing can take full advantage of it.
Extraordinary approach that allows us to understand the point made in that article.

Thank you for continuing to share content inspired by this beautiful book.

Hello friend, certainly we are all different but I think we must learn to be more empathetic, even if someone thinks differently does not mean that he is wrong, each person has his truth and we must respect it.

Hi @franyeligonzalez
what you said is absolutely correct. Well said that thinking differently does not mean that person is wrong and we need to respect the person and show sympathy to his idea. Thanks.

Hello @alokkumar121

I think that one of the things that can help us to understand a little what people want is to know how to listen, and the other is to be able to really understand what they are telling us with their gestures.
