This is the best thing I've seen from you yet.

One of the dynamics of centralization is capital. In the West, we're taught that money buys freedom. Very often, it inhibits it. That is the case with venture capital. Many a CEO have discovered that selling shares of their company puts them in a compromizing position. Suddenly, they can't make all the decisions. Shareholder profits must come first. Many times, that is at the expense of the consumer. Therefore, the money is inhibiting the ability of the business and the customer to reach a consensus on which products and services are available in the market at a fair price point.

Anti-freedom.

So, in a capitalist society, venture capital inhibits the very thing it promises: more consumer choice and personal freedom.

That means the fight isn't so much against centralized structures, per se, but centralization funded by agenda-driven capitalists, a subset of centralization. Without realizing this, many so-called decentralization advocates have bought into the lie that VC money will move them forward faster. They settle on a decentralized technology layer and centralize management driven by financial concerns. What makes Hive unique is that human resources are decentralized. That makes for slow development and less effective marketing, but it achieves the desired goal better ... if the desired goal is more freedom for more people.
