Muy buenas comunidad. Un poco tarde, pero cumpliendo con el reporte semanal del Testigo Aliento. A comparación de la semana pasada, firmamos la misma cantidad de bloques todos los días, a excepción del viernes. El viernes tuvimos un pequeño problema con el servidor donde se corre el testigo y tuvimos que reinstalar el nodo y esperar a que se sincronizara con la blockchain. Este problema ocasionó que perdiéramos algunos bloques y para evitar eso, deshabilitamos por algunas horas el testigo.

Hello community. A little late, but we're still in compliance with the weekly Witness of Encouragement report. Compared to last week, we signed the same amount of blocks every day, except for Friday. On Friday, we had a small problem with the server where the token is run, and we had to reinstall the node and wait for it to sync with the blockchain. This problem caused us to lose some blocks and to avoid that, we disabled the token for some hours.

Afortunadamente todo esto no pasó a mayores. El problema no fue tan grave. Por un momento nos asustamos porque pensamos que tendríamos que volver a sincronizar todo el nodo desde el inicio. Proceso que puede tomar muchos días y eso implicaría mantener apagado o deshabilitado el testigo por poco más de una semana. El problema se pudo resolver gracias al equipo técnico de aliento y una vez que se prendió el testigo firmamos un bloque en menos de una hora.

La recompensa por ese bloque fue de 1.335 HP.

Otra opción es contratar un servidor virtual en alguno de los múltiples servicios que existen en internet. Y la última opción es tener una computadora en casa, lo suficientemente potente para poder correr el testigo. Es importante mencionar que para esta última opción, es necesario tener una conexión de internet y de electricidad ininterrumpida.
