The power of my passport

Hello,
Today we were talking about different travel options at work. One colleague was surprised that we don't need a visa for many countries, but various. He has a German passport and I don't. Actually, his passport is much better than mine because he can travel to many countries without a visa.
For example, I can travel to Tanzania without a visa, but he has to fill out some documents, but I cannot enter the United States of America without a visa, where it is much easier for him. In Asia, it is much easier for him because I need a visa for China, Myanmar and other, but mostly underdeveloped countries in the corner. For Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, which are more of the highly developed countries there, I only require a passport.
But, it has improved a lot in the last 10 years, and it is a big difference to 20 years ago. Twenty years ago, I couldn't even travel to Germany without a visa, and it was always very difficult to get a visa. Now I'm sitting on a plane and flying to Japan. My passport, ranked 43rd, is now ranked 9th, even ahead of the Monaco passport. I will soon be applying for a German passport.
Why is that? We love the freedom it gives us. It makes a big difference when you can travel without stress and visas. The world is so beautiful, and I want to see as much of it as possible.

Für Japan, Südkorea und Taiwan, die eher zu den hochentwickelten Ländern dort gehören, brauche ich nur den Reisepass.
Aber, es hat sich in den letzten 10 Jahren viel verbessert und es ist ein großer Unterschied zu vor 20 Jahren. Vor 20 Jahren konnte ich ohne Visum nicht einmal nach Deutschland reisen, und es war immer sehr schwer, ein Visum zu bekommen. Jetzt sitze ich im Flugzeug und fliege nach Japan. Mein Pass von Rang 43 ist jetzt auf Platz 9, sogar vor dem Pass von Monaco. Bald werde ich den deutschen Pass beantragen.
Warum eigentlich? Wir lieben die Freiheit, die wir dadurch haben. Es macht viel aus, wenn man ohne Stress und Visum reisen kann. Die Welt ist so schön und ich möchte so viel wie möglich davon sehen.
