My city and it's issues

In the last few weeks, I have been talking to a friend who lives in San Francisco about emigrating. He thinks that the situation where he lives has deteriorated a lot and doesn't want to live in such a society.
He wanted to know what it was like in Munich because his employer also has a branch in Munich and he was able to move here with his good salary.
We talked a bit about the city and actually realised that the city is one of the best in Germany, if not in the world. Of course there are also disadvantages and problems, as in any city, but the good things add a lot of value.
It's a relatively clean city, it was much cleaner 10 years ago, but there's a population shift that brings difficulties like this.
I could list some of the issues we have to deal with on a daily basis: Traffic, the main railway station, building sites, high rents, noise pollution and some social hotspots.
Many of them have to do with transport, most of them, I would say. Since I've been here, the city has been growing constantly and there are more and more people who need to get around. There are a lot of roadworks to improve traffic. However, the roads are not being expanded, but optimised. Public transport is also being constantly expanded. I think things will get much better in this respect over the next few years.
Unfortunately, there will always be two problems: one is the high rents, which are driven by high demand. If you try to cap them, nothing will be invested in maintenance and demand will remain. The other problem is the social hotspots such as Hasenbergl and Neuperlach. There are many people here who come from families with a migration background, where society has not managed to integrate them. Here, attempts are being made to integrate these people by strengthening education and trying to put young people on a better path.
These would be the city's problems, which are very small compared to what it has to offer. There are many parks and green spaces, education is good with very good universities, companies that pay above-average salaries, exciting start-ups and a cultural life.

Er wollte wissen, wie es in München ist, denn sein Arbeitgeber hat auch eine Niederlassung in München, und er konnte mit seinem guten Gehalt hierherziehen.
Wir haben uns ein bisschen über die Stadt unterhalten und haben eigentlich festgestellt, dass die Stadt eine der besten in Deutschland ist, wenn nicht sogar in der Welt. Natürlich gibt es auch Nachteile und Probleme, wie in jeder Stadt, aber die guten Dinge, bringen schon einen großen Mehrwert.
Es ist eine relativ saubere Stadt, vor 10 Jahren war sie noch viel sauberer, aber es findet ein Bevölkerungswechsel statt, der solche Probleme mit sich bringt.
Ich könnte einige Probleme aufzählen, mit denen wir täglich zu tun haben: Verkehr, Hauptbahnhof, Baustellen, hohe Mieten, Lärmbelästigung und einige soziale Brennpunkte.
Viele haben mit Verkehr zu tun, also die meisten, würde ich sagen. Seit ich hier bin, wächst die Stadt ständig und es kommen immer mehr Menschen hinzu, die sich fortbewegen müssen. Um den Verkehr zu verbessern, gibt es viele Baustellen. Die Straßen werden aber nicht ausgebaut, sondern optimiert. Auch der öffentliche Nahverkehr wird ständig ausgebaut. Ich glaube, in den nächsten Jahren wird es in dieser Hinsicht viel besser werden.
Zwei Probleme wird es leider immer geben, das eine sind die hohen Mieten, die durch die hohe Nachfrage getrieben werden. Wenn man versucht, diese zu deckeln, wird nichts mehr in die Instandhaltung investiert und die Nachfrage bleibt. Das andere Problem sind die sozialen Brennpunkte wie Hasenbergl und Neuperlach. Hier gibt es viele Menschen, die aus Familien mit Migrationshintergrund kommen, wo die Gesellschaft es nicht geschafft hat, sie zu integrieren. Hier versucht man, diese Menschen zu integrieren, indem man die Bildung stärkt und versucht, die Jugendlichen auf einen besseren Weg zu bringen.

Seems to be worth a short break trip.
Rent prices are a very serious problem lately in Europe. I lived for eight months in a rural town in Ireland, but I was only able to find cheap rent precisely because I lived far from the capital.

Munich is a beautiful city that is steeped in history and as far as I know has managed to balance the modern with the traditional.
Yet it has its own share of challenges.
Had it not been for the daily prompt challenge then perhaps I would not have got to know about this aspect of the city that only a person living there can tell.
