How do you see Hive? Do you see it as a business?

Hi,

with the Zealy Campaign going on, we see a lot of activity on the $HIVE chain. I love it, and I hope that everyone who is taking part, will understand that this is done to grow the value of $HIVE and $LEO, with a very smart marketing campaign.

My friend, @anomadsoul is doing a pretty good job with managing the campaign and the @leogrowth account. It brings a lot of new people in @inleo and @leofinance.

There are amazing new features coming in, like the #premium that I got and will keep on purchasing every month, or the #threadcasts for having an own space. It is becoming the #web3 that we need, from social media point of view, and not only.

The whole system is growing, even if there are some naysayers, it grows, people are coming and we develop further.

One very important thing is, to see the own account, that is tight to this chain universe, as a company, as a business, that needs to grow and function first, till it can produce income. This would be the number one shift in mentality, treat it as a business, not as a job or a thing that produces internet magic money.

I've been here since 2016, seen a lot of stages, from hyper optimism, to disbelief, encountered a lot of people, some very bright ones, that I'm happy to be connected, and some real morons, that are not seeing the picture. One of the most significant things that I've learnt is to stay humble, but follow my road and target. Never lose this from sight. This is it, don't mind the adversity, just go on your own way, interact with the people that are better than you, but also help the ones that ask for your help in a genuine way.

Work at your business, till the business works for you. As @anomadsoul says in this X-post, work harder wherever you can, especially on Saturday. Time is short, and you want to trade as less time as possible for little money, but at the start, it is a necessary tradeoff. After a while, time and money will work together for you, and you can spend it with your dear ones, or in a way that you love to do.

Don't leech your account dry, as it will not help in the long run. You might have a slight increase on your daily budget, but you are harming your financial independence by this. Some years ago, when I was in university, I was very poor. So poor, that I was eating fruits from the trees on the road and glueing my shoes to keep the sole one season longer, that kind of poor. A few years later, we live a decent life, still in rent, but much easier. Not financial independent, but that would be the next step, and after that, the real reason why I'm working that much and so focused, to build generational wealth, so that, even if I will not be here any longer, my grand-grand-kids, shall follow the path they want, without having to worry about how long is the food going to last.

Treat everything you do with focus, follow your plan, and if you don't have one, create one, else you are bystanders of ones who have one. And see the business aspect of the chain. Value it, increase its value and nurture it. I think, @taskmaster4450le would agree to it, and even expand it further.

Hive itself is not a business. It's a platform. For content creators, it's an opportunity. If you come Hive expecting a groundswell of profits in the first month, you'll be disappointed. As you say, to make it work, you've got to work at it. It's an income opportunity that can pay off if you learn how the underlying technology works. A lot of people come here and discover it doesn't meet their expectations, so they want to change it or leave. Take it for what it is and you'll see it for what it is.
