As we near the onset of winter, I would like to write about Hacker-Pschorr's festival beer. In this article, it is the 2020 edition, which I have not yet written on.
Hacker-Pschorr is a Munich brewery, one of the 6 breweries from Munich that also have a tent at Oktoberfest. It is also one of the best tents there.
Another piece of information that is not so well known is that Mr. Pschorr donated the Theresienwiese site to the city of Munich, or rather, part of it.
The Hacker brewery was founded in 1417 and is one of the oldest in Munich. The merger of Hacker-Pschorr took place in 1972. In 1813, they built their cellar where they could store beer even in the summer.
Would buy a beer here if you came to Munich.

And now back to the beer, it is a light beer with 6% alcohol volume and an original wort of 13.7%.
This beer is not for everyone as it leaves a bitter taste at the end. I still liked it and would drink it this year too.
Und jetzt zum Bier, es ist ein Helles mit 6% Alkoholvolumen und eine Stammwürze 13.7%.
Dieses Bier ist nicht für jeden, den es lässt ein bitterer Geschmack am Ende. Ich fand es trotzdem gut, und würde dieses Jahr auch ein Trinken.

They make some great beer. My favorite was the Animator which isn’t exported anymore from what I was told by my beer distributor. Enjoy🍺
