Summer House - A Tiny House-building Game

Summer House is one of the Demos offered in the Steam Next Fest. It's a chill "game" about building a house. You can find it on Steam Here!

The "game" part is used loosly for this title. There's no winning and losing here. Just make a house, save it, make another one. I only tried making one house while recording this video. I went through all the pieces availble in the Demo so I didn't feel the need to make another one. It's a simple game that I'd play for one session and won't get back to.

You start by choosing a place to build the house on. The demo only has one area, but it looks pretty. The 3D models used in this game feel like 2D and the shadows are beautiful when they drop. I wonder if there's a day/night cycle in this game, because I'd love to see how the house I built looks at night.

Summer House is set to release next month. You can buy it here then. I'm not sure if I'd get the full game when it releases. Depending on the price, I might get it during a sale. But it's one of the games I'd only play for one session and move on. But for this session, I liked it.
